New Hampshire Democrats Demand More Money For A Problem They Don’t Want to Solve

NH Congressional DelegationNew Hampshire is getting another $3.1 Million to combat the opioid crisis. US News is reporting that New Hampshire’s All Gurl Delegation, Democrat x four, says it is not enough.

New Hampshire’s delegation had urged President Donald Trump’s administration to revise the formula used to allocate funding so it prioritizes states like New Hampshire that are hardest hit by the crisis. But that didn’t happen.

This coming from a gaggle of progressive geese with no real interest in solving “the problem.”

Jeanne Shaheen – Heinous Beast

Kimberly Morin joins us as we discuss how Sen. Jeanne Shaheen labeled a huge swath of her constituency as bad people doing bad things. We also talk about Maggie Hassan, who appears to know nothing about federal firearms law, and wants to ban all semi-automatic rifles. We also fit in Brexit, Brussels and EU and … Read more

New Hampshire embracing anti-Obamacare policies amid its own health care failures

The Granite State’s foray into healthcare reform started with United States Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), who burnished her progressive healthcare pedigree long before she became known in New Hampshire as ‘the deciding vote for Obamacare.’   Twenty years ago, inspired by then First Lady Hillary Clinton’s failed reform effort, State Sen. Shaheen introduced state Senate … Read more

How Extreme is Jeanne Shaheen

little_cute_baby-wideThat’s got a catchy ring to it, doesn’t it?  How Extreme is Jeanne Shaheen?  Someone should write a song.  Perhaps a dirge would be appropriate?

Jeanne Shaheen, a recipient of truckloads of money from abortion groups like EMILY’s list, supports Kermit Gosnellesque abortions, all the way to birth including live birth abortion.  That sounds extreme to me.  Though I suppose, if you never really took off the blue tinted glasses to look past the progressive bubble, into the world where we are not all either propagandized acolytes, millionaires, or sycophants, you might discover that a recent National Journal poll shows that 48% of all Americans would support a law that prohibits any abortion after 20 weeks.

That’s only 20 weeks sooner than Extreme Ja Heen Sha Heen.

Shaheen Received Money from IRS Employees Union

Open Secrets identifies the National Treasury Employees Union, which covers the IRS, as Liberal.  Go figure?

They only donate to Democrats, which includes New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen, according to this recent press release…

Senate Democrats received more than $570,000 from IRS Union

Washington, D.C. – This week news broke that Senate Democrats were guilty of pressuring the IRS to target many of the conservative groups that the embattled agency now stands accused of doing.  But, a closer look reveals further evidence of Jeanne Shaheen’s feigning outrage: Shaheen was reaping the benefits from Democrats’ close relationship with the IRS, receiving $5,000 from the IRS Employees Union.

“While Democrats were pushing the IRS to target conservatives and other political enemies, their campaigns benefited from more than half a million dollars in campaign contributions from the IRS union,” said NRSC Communications Director Brad Dayspring. “After years of pressuring the IRS to crackdown on their political opponents, Jeanne Shaheen and her Democratic colleagues must be honest with taxpayers and return the IRS union’s contributions immediately.”

Senator Shaheen has been backtracking, back-peddling, disavowing any partisanship on the 501(c)(4) IRS scandal, but given how partisan she is, that’s hard to swallow.  you’d be hard pressed to find her supporting the rights of TEA party groups anywhere, let alone New Hampshire.

So would you be surprised to know that she isn’t the only hyper-partisan New Hampshire Democrat who has taken issue with third party issue advocacy and targeted TEA Party groups (though  not in writing to the IRS–that we are aw are of) and has also taken money from their union.

US News.com Says Jeanne Shaheen Pressured IRS

Not exactly a bastion of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, US News connects the dots between public rhetoric and policy efforts by Democrat Senators that specifically mention right wing groups, with the ongoing partisan actions taken by the IRS against conservative and TEA party groups.

From “Senate Democrats pushed for Tea party snooping before criticizing it…

“From Max Baucus to Chuck Schumer to Jeanne Shaheen, key Senate Democrats publicly pressured the IRS to target groups that held differing political views and who, in their view, had the temerity to engage in the political process. The IRS listened to them and acted. And other Democrat senators like Kay Hagan and Mark Pryor said and did nothing about it.”

NH US Senator Jeanne Shaheen: on Both Sides of the IRS “Targeting Tea Party Groups”

New Hampshire US Senator Jeanne Shaheen on Feb 16th, 2012 (In a letter she signed and sent to the head of the IRS requesting they investigate 501(c)(4)’s in the run up to the 2012 elections)

“We write to inquire if the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is investigating or intends to investigate whether groups designated as “social welfare” organizations, and thus receiving tax or other advantages under section 501 (c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 26 USC § 501 (c)(4), are improperly engaged in a substantial or even a predominant amount of campaign activity.”

“…The promotion of social welfare does not include direct or indirect participation or intervention in political campaigns on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for political office.”

Last weekend (5-10-2013) we learned this

Organizations were singled out (by the IRS during the 2012 election) because they included the words “tea party” or “patriot” in their applications for tax-exempt status, said Lois Lerner, who heads the IRS division that oversees tax-exempt groups.

In some cases, groups were asked for their list of donors, which violates IRS policy in most cases, she said.

And what did New Hampshire US Senator Jeanne Shaheen have to say about that?

Congressional Democrats in DC – Can Congress grant ourselves a waiver from Obamacare – it costs too much!

And I am hoping it is going to cost them dearly – and not just as another deduction from their Federal tax paid payroll checks.  Like many Conservatives, my heart dropped when the Supremes declared it Constitutional – being penalized for simply being an American citizen that breathes if you decide to do “nothing”?  A Collectivists’ wet dream but in my mind, it shattered the Founders’ vision of a limited Government.  However, being a 3,000 page of a bill and now up to 20,000 pages of regulations (with more yet to come) to implement, States refusing to set up their own Exchanges and blowing out their budgets by expanding Medicare, are we starting to see panic as the October implementation date coming up?  And with this, are we seeing the first moments of the political equivalent of “insider trading”?

Or are we seeing the first screaming of those closest to an explosion starting to run to save their hides?

“I have no problems with Congress being under the same guidelines,” Burr told Politico. “I think if this is going to be a disaster — which I think it’s going to be — we ought to enjoy it together with our constituents.

That would be US Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) over at The Corner and I think that SHOULD be the line that the Republicans should take – but will they cave?  At Politico (2 days ago):

Congressional leaders in both parties are engaged in high-level, confidential talks about exempting lawmakers and Capitol Hill aides from the insurance exchanges they are mandated to join as part of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul, sources in both parties said.

…There is concern in some quarters that the provision requiring lawmakers and staffers to join the exchanges, if it isn’t revised, could lead to a “brain drain” on Capitol Hill, as several sources close to the talks put it.

The problem stems from whether members and aides set to enter the exchanges would have their health insurance premiums subsidized by their employer — in this case, the federal government. If not, aides and lawmakers in both parties fear that staffers — especially low-paid junior aides — could be hit with thousands of dollars in new health care costs, prompting them to seek jobs elsewhere. Older, more senior staffers could also retire or jump to the private sector rather than face a big financial penalty.

I Think She’d Say Something like this, Harrell!

Yesterday morning hapless Harrell ‘Jersey Shore’ Kirstein (The New Hampshire Democrat Propaganda Minister) tweeted this.

harrell kirstein tweet poll

PPP is left leaning and always suspect, with a tendency to over-sample for favorable Democrat outcomes, but maybe HK was just looking for a silver lining seeing as the UNH Poll, albeit with a smaller sample, came out with some contradictory results he chose NOT to share.

New Hampshire’s junior senator, Republican Kelly Ayotte, has also seen her favorability rating largely unchanged since February. Currently, 50% of New Hampshire adults have a favorable opinion of Ayotte, 25% have an unfavorable opinion of her, 9% are neutral and 16% don’t know enough about her to say. Ayotte’s net favorability rating is +25%, up from +23% in February. Her net favorability remains high among Republicans at +74% and low among Democrats where it is at -21%. Her net favorability rating among Independents has also stayed steady at +38%.

Emphasis mine… because in the UNH poll she owns Republicans, and most importantly …with independents she is +38.  No point in sharing that, eh Harrell.  But while we’re ‘sharing, that UNH poll had some other important news that might be of even greater concern to Democrats like Kirstein, given that Ayotte is not facing re-election next year and New Hampshire’s two Democrat congress-critters are.

New Hampshire Democrat Women! How Do You Think Live Birth Abortions Should Be Performed?

NH Democrat women and live birth abortion

No point in beating around the bush.  Kermit Gosnell has put live birth abortion front and center and so should we.  It is a thoroughly documented fact that this is something that a number of prominent Democrat women in New Hampshire support.  Democrat leaders in the state and the Democrat party support it.  So we should explore this support to learn more about it.

It is reported that Gosnell, who performed many live birth abortions, would take the crying newborns and snip their spines to kill them.   But that is not necessarily the way every abortion doctor kills newborn babies, so we should pose the question to those in the New Hampshire Democrat party who not only support the practice but enrich their political careers because of it.

To the Democrat women in New Hampshire that support this practice…do you believe that Gosnell’s method–severing the infants spine at the neck– is the best way to kill a baby or do you prefer another?

If you prefer some other method of killing them, what is it?  We know you support it.  So speak up.

“We have to fight back if they come for Jeanne. She shares our values and stands up for them,” -Senator Bob Menendez

Shaheen

It looks like Senator Robert ‘Bob’ Menendez is fundraising for New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen.  Well, there’s a wise decision.  Robert has been  implicated in a number of suspect behaviors for a sitting US Senator, not the least of which was accusations of sex with underage Dominican prostitutes.

What are the Shaheen optics on that, “well, as long as they had free contraception and access to taxpayer funded abortions without interference from a parent or guardian it’s no big deal.”(?)
