New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen has a problem. She has just made it very difficult for State Democrat Party Chair Ray Buckley, the entire NH Democrat party, and all of its candidates, to use anything any Republican has ever done in the past against them, ever.
When confronted by MSNBC about candidate Hillary Clinton’s lavish speaking fees (from Goldman Sachs) Sen. Jeanne Shaheen followed her mentor’s example and had her own “at this point what difference does it make” moment.
Responding to the question she replied, “it doesn’t matter whether you support that or not. The fact is, that’s in the past,…”
Happy days. Nothing anyone has ever done can be used against you.

MELVIN: “I think the unnamed candidate probably Hillary Clinton, safe to say there, Senator. The New York Times reporting yesterday Goldman Sachs has paid Hillary Clinton $675,000 for three speeches in recent years. She was paid millions more by other Wall Street firms along with her husband, they’ve been paid more than $125 million for paid speeches since 2001. That is, of course, not the kind of money that most Americans can relate to. Were the speeches a mistake, Senator?”
SEN. SHAHEEN: “Listen, voters are angry, and I don’t blame them, because they’ve been watching a Washington that has been divisive, that hasn’t worked together. And I believe we need a candidate who’s not going to further divide this country but who’s going to unite it.”
MELVIN: “But that’s not my question, Senator.”
SEN. SHAHEEN: “That’s one of the reasons I’m supporting Hillary. Well, your first question, are voters angry, and I would say yes.”
MELVIN: “No, I never asked that question. I think that’s well established. The question was, are the speeches, were the speeches a mistake? Did it make sense to accept close to…”
SEN. SHAHEEN: “Look, it doesn’t matter whether you support that or not. The fact is, that’s in the past, just as Bernie’s socialism, he claims, is in the past. So, the question is, what do voters want to see now from the candidates, and who can deliver? And that’s what I believe the difference is between the candidates in this race. On both, on the Democratic side and on the Republican side.”
…
Frank Guinta and his mother will be relieved, as will everyone else, regarding anything they have ever done and said because according to Hillary-advocate and Democrat US Senator from New Hampshire, Jeanne Shaheen, none of that matters.
What matters is what voters want and who can deliver. But that doesn’t matter either. Not really. If delivering speeches for almost $700,000.00 dollars to evil Goldman Sachs doesn’t matter, delivering speeches for more, or less, or not delivering any at all doesn’t matter either.
In fact, what voters want doesn’t matter because Friday morning New Hampshire voters wanted Bernie over Hillary 50% to 41% and yesterday is now the past. See how easy that was?
Make sure to write this down so you can repeat it to every member of the press or in response to any attack press release or statement issued by a Democrat who has anything to say about anyone on anything ever; whether the object of that attack press release or statement are running for anything or not.
“Well you know, I always like to defer to the wisdom of New Hampshire’s senior states-woman Senator Jeanne Shaheen. It doesn’t matter whether you (or I) support that or not. The fact is, that’s in the past.”
