GrokTV Event: Part 4 – Jack Kimball and Carson Springer on Sustainable Communities Initiative / Granite State Future Plan

Last Wednesday, Diane Bitter (Chair, Rye Republicans) decided to hold a meeting on the “Sustainable Communities Initiative” here in NH.  Sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency, Fed. Department of Transportation, and the Fed. Department of Housing and Urban Development, it seemingly is becoming a way to Federalize our local communities by first entering with “free … Read more

GrokTV Special Event: Granite State Patriot Liberty PAC TEA Party – Intro Ceremonies

Yesterday the ‘Grok went to the Granite State Patriot Liberty PAC (“GSPLPAC”) “Jack is Back!” TEA Party. Meant as the start of a rallying point, a number of conservative candidates and speakers talked to a crowd that was double that which was originally expected. Sure, most of the TEA Party rolled up its sleeves and went to work politically to effect the changes it knew had to be done – and the 2010 elections were the results.  Even with that amazing result, the Dems and media kept kvetching about “well, where are you” (even as I kept saying “and the huge rallies by the Democrat / Socialist leaning Occupy Wall Street movement are – where?”.

We can be an obliging bunch.  As I said here, the expectation was 100.  I’ve been told by “official counters” that the actual attendance was just about 200 – far more than my lower range estimate of 150.

Sidenote: although not present at the rally, Jerry Delemus was mentioned often with many thanks for stepping up and stepping into the GSPLPAC Chair when Jack had his run at the NH Governorship.  GraniteGrok extends its thanks to Jerry for taking on a hard job with no notice and getting the PAC into the fray!

This video is of the intro ceremony: Invocation, Moment of Silence in honor of the slain Greenland, NH Chief of Police (Michael Maloney who died protecting his men), Honoring our Veterans, Pledge to the Flag, and the singing of the National Anthem:

Right after that, Jeff Chidester (host of “NH Perspectives” and Conserva-tarian [Conservative / Libertarian] activist) stepped into the role of Master of Ceremonies and had some introductory remarks:

From the Democrat Socialists of America: We are working like crazy…………………..Granite State Patriot Liberty PAC: oh, really?

Bumped:  We getting ready to saddle up and head downrange to Dover for the event: BE THERE!

*****

From the Democratic Socialists of America in the language of Occupy Wall Street:

The 99% Spring Offensive is coming. Will you be there?

Groups from every corner of the progressive movement – inspired by the everyday heroes of Occupy Wall Street and Madison, Wisconsin – are planning a massive campaign of bold nonviolent direct actions to explain who REALLY brought on the Great Recession, and make the voices of the 99% impossible to ignore.

Their stated aims are aligned with Obama – the total transformation of the United States of America (where one goal is that Government, not Citizens, are in control).  And they are energized and working hard at doing just that.  Well, there is one group here in NH that is saying “Over our dead bodies!” – The Granite State Patriot Liberty PAC!  Jerry Delemus, who took over the PAC (in addition to his shepherding of the Rochester (NH) 9/12 Project) as Chair when Jack Kimball decided to run for NH Governor, has returned those reins to Jack Kimball.  And at a meeting of the GSPLPAC last night, Jack made it clear that the group is regrouping and come out fast and furious:

Windham Welcomes Gingrich

John Sununu’s ears must be bleeding.  Yesterday Hot Air reported on the Sununu dig at Gingrich and what looks like a twenty year old grudge between them about Newt not supporting the Elder Bushes tax hike deal.  (The one that cost him the oval office.)  The problem is that by drawing attention to it, Sununu makes Newt look more conservative, with history putting Gingrich firmly on the proper side of the argument.

Meanwhile, New Hampshire is supposed to belong to Romney, and Governor Sununu has lined up all the right endorsements (including his own) to make sure it stays that way.  But most of us know Kelly Ayotte will never be Romney’s pick for VP (if Mittens even gets the nomination) and that this is just more establishment chain-yanking and game playing to make sure the ‘right people’ get elected.

Sununu is all about that.  Just ask Jack Kimball.

Old Establishment Scared…The Liberty Wing Needs To Double Down –

I just happen to know who thinks they are in charge. I know who pulled the levers that lead to the establishment coup. I’m just working out the details, putting the time line together. Chasing the money. It may take days or even weeks, but I’ll get it all worked out. and I will share it with you. I’m patient like that.

I’d Like To Thank New Hampshire’s Establishment Republicans

DTtanks for the knife in the backespite the attitude and priorities of the more moderate-establishment (r)epublicans, and the snooty first family-checkbook wielding-GOP aristocracy in New Hampshire, the conservative/liberty movement shied away from running third party races in 2010.   They did not split the party, or run as independents, though a few establishment (r)epublicans who lost their primaries did.

Instead, the liberty/conservative movement embraced shared interests and invested themselves in getting Republicans elected.  They offered both time and money, worked sign-waves and phone banks, and helped hand the NHGOP super-majorities in the legislature, to win the entire executive council, two congressional seats, a US Senate seat, and the closest race for governor Comrade Lynch has yet seen.

Part of that success was the tireless work of one Jack Kimball.  After the primary, Jack wasn’t even running for anything, yet he was running everywhere for everyone, committed to getting the Republicans elected whether he agreed with all of their policy positions or not.  His reward was the chairmanship of the State party, duly elected by the voting members.  But a few weeks before that vote, then GOP chair Sununu, while ignoring his own pro-establishment and media bomb throwers, had this to say.

Sununu said he was “a little bit disappointed about some of the divisive comments that have been made by some of Jack’s supporters. That is not the way to bring the party together and it does Jack a disservice because it gives the impression that his support is coming from people who would rather divide than unite.

Chairman John Sununu, January of 2011 – Granite Status.

These are the words of someone convinced of their own supremacy.  The establishment wins, and look, we were all about unity, so that the liberty movement–the losers, could continue to toe the party line and help us win landslide elections.  The End.

Oops. That didn’t happen.  What did happen is the bitter GOP Establishment lost and decided to take democracy and unity on a trip through the Orwellian reassignment machine.

Would You Rather Just Play Politics?

Yesterday NHBR.com (New Hampshire Business Review) included GraniteGrok in its content.  One of it’s staff writers or editors (there is no by-line) commented on how the GOP establishment was not the only one taking shots from their right.  The Union leader, NH Journal, and Red Hampshire–which the  author refers to as "those in the GOP media world"–are now in the sights of GraniteGrok and their sometimes paranoid always angry Groksters.

The air-raid siren has been sounded so you less conservative, less liberty minded Republicans had best rouse the troops and scramble the jets or the also "sometimes paranoid and angry" readers of GraniteGrok are going to split the party in two.

So goes the tone of the NHBR.com piece.  So what does it really say?

It says they are biased, short-sighted, and uncomfortable with the facts.

Where’s Condon?

Just like Where’s Waldo, we have hidden in this picture from the New York Times article Skip just mentioned below, (Ok ‘hidden’ is the wrong word), Grokster Tim Condon. Can you spot him?

Jack Kimball Wins

Most everyone will know by now that the GOP convention was a rousing affair, very goodhearted and unifying overall, and that Jack Kimball is the New Party Chairman.

Bend It For The Benjamins

As a follow up to this, yesterday or maybe the day before, the NH Journal (NHJ), New Hampshire’s prominent internet news source if the news is whatever Hynes communications is being paid to call news, decided to float a lie called pin the conservative blogger to Jack Kimball.  Someone the NH Journal staff knew would stir the pot was fingered as Kimball’s communications director if he won the job as GOP State party chairman, even though no one–including Kimball and the blogger–knew anything about it until after the digital ink was dry.

The goal for Hynes and Millerick, (owner and editor respectively at NHJ)  appear to have been to send the RINO’s into a mad stampede.  RINO’s stampede easy so it worked.  Some RINO’s were so miffed, and wanting so badly for just such a story to jump on, they picked up the lie and ran with it. (Just like a progressive if that’s not too provocative a statement to make.)

There was a bit of damage control but once it’s out there, it is out there, no different than when CNN or MSNBC does it.  But the story did not end there.

How To Know You Have A Winner

You can just tell when you have a winner. It becomes more important for your opponents to smear your candidate than to promote theirs. It’s all about scare tactics. The noise machine. The echo chamber. Creating a narrative. And the media and the career party folks all seem like they are on the same side frantically offering doomsday scenarios.
