Milton High School is no stranger to these pages. In early July we reported on an unattended “vaccine clinic” table at the school. Needles, vials of Covid vaxx left out in the open. Well, we’re back and this time it looks deliberate.
We’ve all heard the term, closure. It refers to a psychological resolution to a problem or an issue that allows a person to “move past” that problem or issue. We use various terms to show how closure is achieved: the “5 stages of grief”, complete recovery from alcoholism or drug dependency, etc.
Ok. It’s time. No more excuses. Mass-vigils are being held – including the well-attended vigil Saturday evening at Greely Park. Mass protests are common. The governor is opening up the state. It’s time for Nashua High School graduation exercises to be held.
Perhaps, maybe, for a good reason, but Bob Jozokos certainly sounds like he’s crossing a line: who is the employee and who is the employer? Who gets to make the decisions? The student who publicly posted to Facebook their support to overturn the decision to allow JROTC air rifle practice behind Nashua North has removed their post. The movement has been taken over by a new “student” notice on the Nashua Patch.
Projecting modern “values” as an excuse to erase history is not new. Conquerors have been doing it since the dawn of man. Communists, ISIS, and other tyrants and despots perform such cleansing as a matter of policy today. Democrat socialists do it too. Right here in America.
