A quick preface. Florence is a hurricane. It’s causing flooding, wind damage, and as more and more people flock to live in these areas the risk to lives and damage to property increases. That is their choice. And so it this.

A weatherman reporting for the weather channel is having a rough go. He’s trying to do his report in what appears to be very high winds. Leaning forward, and shifting his stance to stay upright. He’s really working it. Thespis would be proud. Because while he’s giving his performance, two guys walk into the back of the shot and for some reason, the winds are different where they are.

I have a question about “the Russians” trying to overturn our “democracy” by posting fake news on websites – as leftists and the liberal fake news media claim they did in 2016.

“By now, we know these fake accounts helped influence the latest U.S. presidential election. Automated bot accounts made up 18 percent of Twitter’s traffic related to the 2016 election, according to researchers, and these bots overwhelmingly pushed messages in favor of now President Donald Trump. At least a third of pro-Trump tweets during the election came from bots, and half of Trump’s most engaged Twitter followers are bots.”

A little girl leaning into a lion’s cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the collar of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents. A biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.

Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings the girl to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly. A reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, ‘Sir, this was the most gallant and bravest thing I’ve seen a man do in my whole life. The Harley rider replies, ‘Why, it was nothing, really. The lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt right.’

The reporter says, ‘Well, I’ll make sure this won’t go unnoticed. I’m a journalist with the Washington Post, you know, and tomorrow’s paper will have this story on the front page. So, what do you do for a living, and what political affiliation do you have?’
