“Nothing like being scolded by a hippie.” —Sarah Dessen

Yet another campaign ad from Obummer accusing Mittens of outsourcing jobs. Fact-Check.org, as well as the other pundits have weighed in on this issue, “yet they still fiddle.” Does Fisker Automotive come to mind?
And what about outsourcing? What is the deal with outsourcing? Does anybody ever think about the concept beyond the fact that outsourcing is done for the pursuit of lower costs and cheaper labor? We certainly need to.
“Who needs enemies when you’ve got Republican Surrenderists for Obamacare waiting in the wings?” —Michelle Malkin
Eleven days have passed since the Supreme Court Healthcare mandate ruling. And with breakneck lightening speed pundits on both sides took to the airwaves, spinning, expounding, pontificating, analyzing and finger-wagging. What was shocking to many in the pregnant pause of waiting for the decision was that it was Justice Roberts who was the swing vote to uphold the law.
For months, we heard a regular smorgasbord of talking heads on television, radio and in blogs predicting the mandate would fall and be declared “unconstitutional” by the nation’s highest court. The court’s upholding of the mandate drew a shockwave throughout the land. “Surprise, Surprise…”
This is too good not to borrow and re-post. Dana Loesch–whom we saw at RightOnline this year–reports on the most recent Obama distraction–Romney..something something…and follows with a reminder that most of Obama’s defenders are funded by a guy with way more money (Soros) than Romney. She then provides a list of links to things about … Read more
The Web is brimming with the bitter bile of Obamhypocrsiy today. (As it is most days). But today seems particularly special. First unpatriotic debt, and now The Divine Mr. O reminds us (Circa 2008) that charging people for not buying insurance is mean. And he’s not mean like that. Except that he is. (Are you … Read more
Jeanne Shaheen had some harsh words for the White House regarding the Wildfires…

“These wildfires are a direct result of this administration’s failure to do something about global warming,” Shaheen said with passion and to applause as the microphone cut out on her.
…back in October of 2007. Back in 2007 she was talking about California Wildfires and then President George W. Bush.
Whether you believe in Global warming or not, and regardless of whether you think it could or would have any affect on wildfires as Jeanne Shaheen believes–at least for the sake of campaign rhetoric–what bearing do these remarks have on the current situation in Colorado today?
Saw this first at CBS/Boston. A local Durham New Hampshire resident has offered to donate the up to $20,000.00 dollars necessary to cover the cost of Police, Fire, and EMT coverage for President Obama’s Campaign visit. Durham officials say they didn’t mean to raise a ruckus, but they didn’t have the money budgeted for police, … Read more
Skip is clearly on to something here. Following his lead on the absence of an actual ofanh.com web site (even though all the local office email is tied to the fictitious ofanh.com) I went on a digital scavenger hunt.
Our neighbors to the south don’t have an ofama.com but they do have an ofama.org. It hasn’t been updated since the year before HealthCare reform was forced into law. But it does have a link to massforchange.org. That leads to a Japanese site whose English translation makes it appear to be designed to help female sex workers find jobs. (I guess that’s close enough.)
The latest annual moon-bat confab of global warming wackos is taking place in Rio where the idea of a global tax to funnel money directly to the corrupt and incompetent UN (and presumably the UN MDG agenda) has reared it’s ugly little head again. In fact, one of the items on the negotiating table here … Read more
Obama has a lot of problems, but for most of us, it’s just the economy that is not doing fine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7VLSnI2DAw&feature=player_embedded
When you cannot speak from a point of principle you will inevitable contradict yourself. Democrats do it often. And here’s David Axelrod (circa 1994) telling us that a sitting President shouldn’t fake economic optimism. And certainly not from the 9th hole. Advice he seems to have forgotten to give to President Obama…and himself (Circa 2012). … Read more
Thanks to commenter JackL for the reminder; that Jeanne “no oversight” Shaheen, Barack ‘Boondoggle’ FauxBama and the Democrats have always relied on the lie that rising energy prices were the result of “Evil Oil Speculators.”
Evil Speculators…speculators…
Isn’t what Mr. Obama, Secretary Chu, and Senate Energy Committee maven Greene Jeanne Shaheen have done, energy speculation? Aren’t they energy speculators? What else do you call investing tens of billions in the future value of green energy? It’s energy speculation.
Well how is that working out so far?

Four of the top officials at the Department of Justice were all big money fundraisers for President Obama’s campaign with strong ties to Wall Street—the very entity President Obama and the Occupy Wall Street movement say must be criminally prosecuted for bringing about the biggest financial crisis in U.S. history.

<—First issue of Vorwärts, October 1, 1876
In the English translation, the term Forward has historically been used in the titles of socialist and politically left-leaning periodical publications primarily in Europe.[1][2] The context of the title connoted an “urge for progress”.[3]
Vorwärts! (German for ‘Forward’, with an exclamation point as part of the name) was a revolutionary German emigré publication issued in Paris in the mid-1840s. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels were amongst the contributors to the magazine. Whilst the publication was short-lived, it had a lasting impact and served as an inspiration for later socialist press outlets. A second Vorwärts (without exclamation point) was founded in 1876, being an organ of the Social Democratic Party of Germany and with Wilhelm Liebknecht as its first editor.[4] In the years before the First World War, the term ‘vorwärts’ was almost monopolized in German political discourse by the Social Democrats, and the name was used for various publications and organizations.[5]

So the brouhaha all started over some years ago when Mittens strapped his dog Seamus’ kennel to the top of the family people transporter for a 12-hour drive. Okay…on the face of it, it seems not only bizarre, but a little tough to take. But being a hunter who makes uses of hunting dogs, I fail to see where this gets political feet. Yeah the animal rights crybabies are having a tough time with it….after all, talking animal movies, dogs with sunglasses and other such stupid nonsense has relegated us to a culture where animals are personified. How many of those idiotic paintings have we seen of dogs playing poker? But seriously? How is this different from the traditional Hunting dog boxes?

As I consider the long string of abuses by the Obama government, the lobbyists, the gun running, the massive debt, the lack of transparency, the lack of a realistic Budget for three years (a Democrat Senate that wont propose or pass any budget), and the most recent abuses exposed at the GSA and the Secret Service … Read more
George Bush 43 doubled the budget at the Department of Education over eight years to roughly $32 billion. Barack Obama more than double it again with the only bloated budget the Democrat congress ever dared to pass.
That first Obama budget increased spending at the Department from Education from $32 billion per year in 2009 to $71,000,000,000.00 (Billion) per year by 2011. That works out to over $400 million more dollars spent per school day nationally (assuming 180 days of school), in addition to all the state or local taxes you also pay for public education. And Obama want’s more. For what you ask?
It is easy enough to see why progressive doctrine should be attractive to our masters. Tyrannical ambition is nothing new, and throughout human history it has nearly always presented itself to men in the guise of idealism. We are all inclined to meddle in other people’s business; we are all inclined to think that we … Read more
