The 2022 Hurricane Prediction Season is a Total Bust

It’s official. The 2022 hurricane prediction season is a bust. With only a few weeks left in October (November hurricanes are rare), there is nothing to see here. And I mean nothing.

How Hurricane Ian Wrecked The Climate Cult’s Dire Predictions Business

The left is promising that they can stop Hurricanes or something, but that’s not even close to true for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is they (and their experts) can’t even tell us where one will be three days from now.

Tampa, Florida vs. Hurricane Ian (Watch Live Radar)

The first major hurricane landfall of 2022 is upon us, and Ian is heading right toward the throat of Tampa Bay. I spent a good deal of time there growing up. My parents like to vacation in the area. Everything is on sand up to the water’s edge, so they’re screwed.

House Democrat Priorities – Investigate WeatherGate and the Hurricane That Never Hit Alabama

Because there is nothing more pressing for Democrats to do in the US House, they are opening another investigation. Who pressured NOAA to back the President on whether Hurricane Dorian was headed toward Alabama?

NH Forums on Climate Damage to Agriculture Have a Problem – NOAA Says We Don’t Have Any

All manner of scheming rises to normalize the culture of progressive confiscation. One such effort reported here two weeks ago – Presidential forums that will focus on Climate damage to agriculture in NH. One problem. According to NOAA, there isn’t any.

Hurricane Update from Tampa

We should get another update this morning, which I’ll add below this one but here’s Merrimack, NH storm chaser Josh Moore outside in Tampa last night leaning into 80 mph gusts with rain.

Data Point – Hurricanes hitting the US

No major hurricane has made landfall in the continental United States for a record-breaking 129 months, according to data going back to 1851 compiled by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The last major hurricane to make landfall on the continental United States was Hurricane Wilma, which slammed into Florida on Oct. 24, 2005–129 months ago. … Read more

Urgent Time Sensitive Request To Stop

The Commission to Study Offshore Wind and Port Development is scheduled for Monday, October 28th, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will occur at 222 International Drive, Suite 175, in Portsmouth, NH. Time is running out as the leases will be sold on October 29th. This is an urgent nonpartisan request. To show up, look at some of the problems … Read more

Atlantic Basin has Five “Disturbances” – [Update 3 – Hello Francine!]

With only five days until the cyclone season peak (9/10/24), the climate kids are all a flutter. NOAA is simultaneously tracking five disturbances across the Atlantic basin that could develop into cyclones. How likely is that? Not very. Not yet. I modified the latest NOAA map with their percentage chance for each disturbance. At this … Read more

There Will Be Lots of Guessing – Most of It Will Be Wrong

One of the risks of writing about hurricanes a day before the content is published is that they can form in the interim. This has happened to me before, but not so much this year. That’s odd. All the indicators suggested a knock-down drag-out storm-a-palooza of a season. It has yet to materialize only days … Read more

Climate Depressions, Tropical and Otherwise [Updated]

While Climate Cultists pray for devastation – as if it will justify their faith in an irrefutable hypothesis – the lack of tropical depressions has been superseded by other bad news for climateers. New Zealand, for example, will no longer tax cow farts to save the planet.

From Boiling Oceans™ to Bleaching Corals™ – How About Some Actual Science

The Climate Cult echo chamber is full voice after the BBC published a misleading bit of global terrorism this week titled “Coral bleaching: Fourth global mass stress episode underway – US scientists.”

Drought and rain

Is It Drought Season Yet?

Water, water everywhere, but get ready for odd, even watering bans. Yes, spring has sprung like a stripper from a giant cake as the whores in government line up to spring regulatory speed bumps at our summertime fun. Will water bans be part of it? Is the Pope a Marxist?

Save the Whales, No – Save The Wind! – PART 3- THE DATA

What could possibly be causing an uptick in marine deaths related to Offshore Wind farms? Many factors may disrupt marine life, including noise, vibration, sonar, and more, many of which we are not aware of. Let’s scratch the surface of some of the data.

Climate Warriors Send Chilling Message

Climate alarmists have long warned that extreme cold weather events are a consequence of climate change and will worsen. Weather records, however, demonstrate this is not true. It is challenging to trust absolutist claims of anthropogenic climatic warming when those making such claims display such ideological dishonesty.

Temperature Anomaly Voodoo and The Scorching Hot September Narrative

Last week, while eulogizing the collapse of another hurricane season – during a super hot summer narrative season – I hinted at the latest caterwauling by the climate cult. OMG, September was so darn hot; it’s a record. Hardly.

So, Global Warming Makes Cyclones Putter About the Ocean Rarely Reaching Land?

With a few weeks left and only one CAT3 US landfall in 2023, the Climate Cult must be beside itself: all the boiling hot ocean water and only one landfall. The news gets worse. Nothing is coming (anytime soon) to save their narrative.

Sea Level Rise Blamed for Increasing Coastal Property Values Instead of Depressing Them

The Climate Cult is a belief system whose tenets or dogma are unassailable. Cooling is warming. More snow is the same as less snow. It causes rain and drought., extreme weather, or no weather.

It’s Not Getting Warmer …

NOAA predicted a drier, warmer winter in the Northeast this season. Depending on where you are, it might be warmer but not drier. From Buffalo to the Eastern Seaboard, precipitation, whether rain or snow, has been above average.

Warm up to This Science: 2022 Northern Hemisphere Snow Cover is at a 56-Year High.

It’s December 8th, 2022, and Southern New Hampshire has no measurable snow. We’ve not seen any yer. The odd dusting or a flurry in the air, but no accumulation. It’s not strange but is atypical. It also gets the local climate cultists wound up.
