NBC Boston’s coverage of Congresscritter Chris ‘Norovirus’ Pappas’ US Senate run anouncement starts with, he’s Gay! He’s also gay!
“He is the first openly gay man to represent the state in Congress and would be the first openly gay man in the Senate if he wins.”
And his restaurant once killed a guy, after which there is credible evidence suggesting his congressional office pressured local media to hide the source of the outbreak that led to the death.
In November of 2019, several people got ill, and one died after contracting Norovirus from a Puritan Backroom catered event. But no one knew it was Democrat Congressman Chris Pappas’ restaurant for an entire month. Shhh…secret. Officials and media types could not find the time to immediately report the establishment’s name where the outbreak occurred as a public service, and the restaurant did not make any public statements.

Mr. Pappas – did you know he was gay and he’s running for the US Senate – also tried to disguise a lawyer/activist as a blue-collar mechanic in one of his campaign ads and lied on live television about dating a corporate lobbyist.
He’s also gay, and the US Senate doesn’t have any of those, so that’s important.
Not really, and I don’t care what Chris does when he’s not lying or poisoning his customers, but since he arrived in DC, the national debt has risen 15 trillion dollars. That’s a 71% increase over what it was when he arrived. We could call him Mr. Inflation, but so are Ms. Shaheen and Ms. Hassan. However, Shaheen is retiring (she oversaw the addition of 26 trillion in debt, nearly tripling what she inherited), and Mr. Pappas, who happens to be gay, wants that job so he can help add to the debt at a significantly accelerated rate than the current occupant. Shaheen only added about 1.6 trillion in debt per year of service. Pappas has overseen an average of 3 trillion in new debt annually.
He’s clearly the better Democrat. He was also fooled by the pandemic, bought in for the long haul, would not oppose vaccine passports, and supported COVID vaccines for kids, which was the likely cause of death for a nephew who suffered heart failure after getting jabbed.
The Biden White House also tricked him, or he knew about Biden’s mental infirmity and covered it up.
Pappas can also see Russia from his front porch and voted to give hundreds of millions of your tax dollars to our enemies, including Russia.
None of this makes him unelectable—and he’s gay. There is also the matter of NH Republicans finding and supporting a candidate who can win that race. Scott Brown is interested, and Chris Sununu is toying with the idea. The latter, I suspect, depends on whether it is a reasonable stepping stone to the presidency. I think his dad wants a son to be president before he dies, and time is running out.
Either of them would be a suitable deep-state establishment stooge and remarkable only in that they are not Democrats, which, sadly, might be the best we can hope for. That, and beating Pappas in 2026, would get him out of Congress and leave him on the sidelines to consider … running for Governor—a Gay John Lynch but without the moderating tendencies.
One problem at a time, I suppose.
