Last call at the .223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights: Skip Murphy and Susan Olsen

Last call, last post.  Last speaker – that would be me.  Do our Rights come from God, or as CNN commentator Chris Cuomo holds, from men in collective compromises?  Always remember:

The Bigger The Government, the smaller the citizen

And Susan Olsen, organizer of this .223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights event, closed out the afternoon – job well done:

DoS HB582 2015.223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights – Susan Olsen on the NH Dept of Safety arguing against our RightsHow is it that our employees (for that is what Government workers are), paid with our tax dollars, can argue against our Constitutional Rights in front of our lawmakers?  Susan talks about the Letter that the Department of Safety sent in doing exactly that:

.223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights – Ian Underwood

Ian Underwood is the founder of Shaolin Rifleworks and we have posted about his testimony to the NH Legislature before – that words mean things and that if our Legislators refuse to hold to the words of our Constitution, why should we have to hold to the words of their laws?  The fish rots from the head down – if our Legislators continue to operate “lawlessly”, then why should anyone else be surprised when the rest of us follow suit?  After all, words mean things for us all, or they mean nothing.

Rail Gun Porn

It’s been a few years since we posted any rail gun footage.  This is similar to some past videos I’ve seen with some new or at least different high-speed camera footage added.  And they claim that the Navy will have this thing on a ship in 2016.

Tom Cotton – Much better grasp on Reality of Guantanamo than Obama

An impassioned Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) slammed the Obama administration’s efforts to close Guantanamo Bay, and made his own thoughts on the matter quite clear during a Senate Armed Services hearing this morning… “In my opinion, the only problem with Guantanamo Bay is that there are too many empty beds and cells there right now,” Cotton said … Read more

Wherein NH Democrat Party Chair Ray Buckley makes a fool of himself on national TV

“On Tuesday’s airing of MSNBC’s Hardball, host Chris Matthews tried several times to get New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Raymond Buckley to commit to holding presidential primary debates in his state. Matthews asked many times, trying to get the chairman to guarantee that there will be debates and not just a coronation of Hillary Clinton.” … Read more

Speaking of Flip Flops, here’ssss Jeb Bush!

First and foremost we need to control our border.  A great nation needs to control its border.  Not just at the border, which is hugely important, but also the 40 percent of the people that have come here illegally came with a legal visa and overstayed their bounds.  We ought to be able to figure out where they are and politely ask them to leave.”

We need to use State and local enforcement.  State and local law enforcement should be a partner with the federal government to make this done effectively and in a “compassionate” way.

I don’t even know that that means – “ask”?  “Compassionate”?  “Partner”?  Sorry, but when you are using the phrase “law enforcement”

And we wonder why they are spineless?

“Attention Congressman Gosar! You took an oath about protecting the Constitution. Remember? Amazing short video that reveals what Congress really thinks about the Constitution.

He doesn’t get off the hook however without being informed in no uncertain terms why  Liberty must be supported.”

The most telling part are the couple of interactions with Congressman Gosar (R-AZ):

Congressman Gosar: Folks, be careful what you tread here because if all you’re going to do is stand just for the Constitution and nothing less, you will lose. We have to have the Constitution but a plan to get back.

Man: Why would they lose if they stood for the Constitution?

G: Because, because…

Man: Is it too far to go?

Fiscally unsound for WHO, Senator Jeff Woodburn?

Pay taxesThis caught my eye earlier this week in the Union Leader (reformatted, emphasis mine):

DOWN TO BUSINESS: Senate Democratic Leader Jeff Woodburn of Dalton likened a GOP effort to cut the business profits tax and business enterprise tax to “political footballs.”
[Senate GOP wants to lower NH business taxes].   Sen. Andy Sanborn, R-Bedford, and Senate Majority Leader Jeb Bradley, R-Wolfeboro, touted legislation to cut the BPT from 8.5 percent to 8 percent over four years, and cut the BET by 10 percent over three years, to reinforce New Hampshire as a business-friendly state.

Woodburn rebutted talk that the tax cuts would create more jobs and raise wages. With the state budget constraints, Woodburn says he would focus more on the argument that such bills are fiscally unsound.  “The pre-game is over and we’re ready to get on the field and get to work,” he said.

I will ask again – unsound for whom?

GrokTALK! January 24th, 2015 – The Video (er, mostly)

We had ‘Net access problems – they couldn’t hear us, we couldn’t hear them especially during Segment 3 when we were talking with NH State Rep Victoria Sullivan about her bill on objectionable material in schools (and the teachers / administration putting their “morality” ahead of what parents would do).  Even rebooting the modems and routers didn’t help much and for that, we’re sorry.  Thus, we’ve got the Pre-Show (shooting the breeze, tweaking the gear), Segment 1 Part 1 (NH State Rep Guy Comtois for his Legislative Update), Segment 1 Part 2 (Jorge Mesa-Tejada and his Education Update on school budgets), Segment 2 (Greg Kline from Red Maryland.com on his now former Guv Michael O’Malley running for Prez and the new Conservative Guv, Larry Hogan, making Liberal heads explode right off the bat) and Segment 4 (Groksters Mike, Steve, and Skip).

Note: ALL of the segments had our guests on the phone so all you get to see is Steve and I.
