Yup.  ‘Grok friend John Hawkins of RightWingNews has a column up at Townhall giving a few examples of some Liberals  (the real rich people) that have made it into the 1%, and then try to pull up the drawbridge behind them:

Gilford School Board – If It Were Left-Wing Outrage

I was talking to a reader about the Gilford School board and their cavalier attitude toward a teen-porn curriculum.   It occurred to us that if this was about a parent objecting to a moment of silence or something else to which the left objects, the Democrats would respond as they did in Merrimack back in the 90’s.  The left opposed a policy and to make their point they waged an all out culture war and PR blitzkrieg.

1. Brought in Rent a mob groups from MA to protest outside the School Board meetings.
2. Students wore black arm bands to protest the Anti Gay policy
3. Left-wing advocates would show up to School Board meetings and use the public comment time to lash out at the School Board.
4. They filed a law suit against the town of Merrimack for the policy.
5. The media tried to drag Republican presidential candidates into the controversy during the 1996 Pres Primary.

The reader was wondering, with regard to the Gilford School Boards position that “teen porn is a necessary part of a public education,” are local activists…

The Shaheen-Portman Energy Bill – More Bureaucracy and Taxpayer Handouts

Tax Money down the toilet for DoD green energy awardsThe Shaheen-Portman Energy Bill has stirred up some controversy about Scott Brown, Kelly Ayotte, and a he-said, she-said contrivance manufactured by the left-wing Huffington Post.  But then, that is what the left does.  It lies.

The left will do and say anything to elicit an emotional response which will create movement on their side.  Money, action, whatever.  And I could easily excrete 900 words from my finger-tips in short order on the matter but the he-said she-said contrivance is running cover for an even bigger lie; that the Shaheen Portman Energy efficiency boondoggle was a good bill that Republicans killed. It’s a lousy bill.

It is a lousy bill, with silly incentives, that rewards lazy states, prop up badly manged local budgets, and  redistributes wealth from taxpayers to big businesses and big bureaucracies, that should not be adding decimal places to the debt clock for a program that is the energy-efficiency equivalent of rearranging deck chairs on the titanic.

Sanbornton – Workforce Housing: discussion and voting results

Yes, mea culpa – I spelled Sanbornton wrong in every single one of the following videos; I apologize!  On Thursday, May 1st, the Sanbornton Planning Board held a session in which the town’s residents could ask questions about the upcoming voting on zoning Amendments, especially as Workforce Housing (e.g., low cost, higher density, clustered developments).  It was clear, especially when the Town Planner had an outburst of “YOU HAVE YOUR FUTURES!  YOU HAVE YOUR AGENDA 21s!!!” in trying to deny NH State Rep Jane Cormier a few minutes to speak (Ah yes, the retaliation of our betters against “the rabble”, eh?) that the board was attempting to “stack the meeting’.  While a couple of folks seemed to be in favor of the WFH oriented Amendments, most were not.  All videos after the jump.

In fact, the voting on the amendments yesterday showed that the whole concept got a huge thumbs DOWN as evidenced by the article in today’s Laconia Daily Sun (emphasis mine, reformatted):

NH House Passes Speech Cartel – Bill SB-120

FREE SPEECH ZONEThe anti-free speech bill SB120 creates a government regulated speech cartel, that violates the US constitution, the New Hampshire Constitution, and common sense, but the NH Legislature passed it anyway.  Governor Nanny Hassan is expected to sign it because it violates your speech rights in a way favorable to her oppressive political worldview.

The next question; is someone going to file suit against ti before the ink is dry on that signature, to freeze this in its tracks?
