Jeanne Shaheen’s Impressive Progressive Appeasment Muscle Memory

Michelle Obama - Workplace violenceThe Progressive-appeasment muscle memory must have just  kicked-in when NH Senator Jeanne Shaheen wanted to make sure we didn’t confuse Boko Haram with Islam.  Boko Haram, whose full name, translated, means “People Committed to the Propagation of the Prophet’s Teachings and Jihad,” kidnapped hundreds of girls and converted them to Islam.  But hey, propagation of the Prophets teachings (Islam) and Jihad (terrorism) should not be confused with terrorism, or Islam, or Boko Haram.    That’s just a coincidence.

You know what else might be a coincidence…?

Jeanne Shaheen claimed that with ObamaCare you could keep your plan and your doctor, but it turns out that Obamacare and keeping your plan or your doctors, should not be confused with each other either.

She also said that green energy “investments” (taxpayer-funded boondoggles) would create good paying jobs, which is only true if by ‘job’ you mean bailing out billionaire Democrat crony investors, or hiring the Democrat lawyers who got paid to handle the bankruptcies.

In related news, Senator Shaheen would also like to ensure that you do not confuse her helping to double 230 years worth of  national debt in just five years with earlier remarks about that previous 230 years worth of debt being irresponsible or unsustainable.
