Oh Good Lord above – give me wisdom

No, you don’t get a pass just because you think you “deserve” one and that because whatever it is you are proclaiming is “self-evident”.  Sorry, given a choice between what your lyin’ sign says or my truthful eyes, I’m picking the latter.  I’m a black 20 year old Asian, if you ask me, and my … Read more

When CHAD can demonstrate they know more about REAL gun safety…

Until then, shut the bleep up and stop being Nannies that are unneeded, unwanted, and “presenting” (they use that word a lot, those medical people) a snotty (and snotty) sense of moral superiority to we “bitter clingers” of you know whats. You know far more about medical issues than I do and I listen.  Don’t assume … Read more

Quick Thought: it sounds so fine and so high-falutin’ don’t it?

“Everyone has a right to live in a country not dominated by the systemic racist practices of government and other powerful institutions, structures, institutional interlocks, and matrices,” Willem Cerf of Manchester said in remarks distributed by the campaign. Scratching my head here – I think Cerf just called almost EVERYONE in the country else a … Read more

BlogQuestion of the Day – Coverup? How big is the cabal and what will the consequences be?

https://twitter.com/SohrabAhmari/status/1007279078989127680 Why aren’t more people going bananas over this?  Shouldn’t this be a bipartisan deal, where the bureaucrats are trying to influence (or, worse, alter) the outcome of an election?  Which is worse, our OWN government trying to do so or “Russians”? How are Progressives going to square this circle given that this is now … Read more

It’s what the Left does – normalize what used to be taboo to accept their even worse

No TabooComparisons, comparisons.  First, go back and read this.  Remember, the media ‘fessed up to “normalizing” homosexuality.

Now this:  Bernie Sanders Says Liberals Are Turning the “Radical” into the “Mainstream.”

And now this:  Drag queen superheroes show — ‘Super Drags’ — coming to Netflix: ‘They’re going to save the world’

So, normalizing Socialism and Communism.  Now add to that which  used to be considered to be depraved behavior – and we Normals aren’t to say a thing or be labeled RACISTs or HOMOPHOBES, or DEPLORABLES or IRREDEEMABLES (did I forget the word BIGOT! ?).  Stigma – a word that has had its meaning pretty much neutered.  Depravity is in, church going and traditionally moral people out.  Fun-cations (complements of unemployment – trust me, it ain’t) in, hard work out. Responsibility is out, blaming others is in.  America bashing in, pro-America out; you get the picture (and I keep coming back to this over and over because it does seem that the America I grew up in is being deliberately and methodically destroyed.

So when all what used to be praised and held to be of value, what happens?

Grok Poll (Works, Now!)- Would You Vote Republican In Nov. to Keep Nancy Pelosi from Becoming Speaker?

Pelosi-stands for illegals and not for Americans

Update – Sorry for not realizing the poll was fubar. I believe this has been corrected and you should be able to vote now. If not please let me know.

It’s still early but the current forecast shows the U.S. House could flip to a Democrat Majority by one seat.

That one seat probably makes Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the Chamber which means New Hampshire could decide whether or not we get two years of her radical nonsense or the nation is saved from her clownish leadership.

Does that matter to you?

RRftSotRR – I get stuff. This one? “Shut up and just vote for us, Republicans”

I get stuff.  All the time.  Some puts a smile on my face for the right reason.  Some don’t.  But some put smiles on my face but not necessarily for the purposes for which it was meant.  This is one of them. RRftSotRR stands for one of my memes: a “Republican Republican for the Sake of the Republican Party”.  Translation: Thou shalt not diss the Party.  Not swift, as I’m not all that into such totalitarian diktats from my “political” betters (or those thinking they are).  So, in this person’s own words:

RRftSotRP Missive - front-600 Part 1

OK, this is mostly fact based – mostly.  There’s an element of truth in there to which the answer is [carefully?] avoided and it is something that we all learned in elementary school (well, depending on when you went to elementary school).

Mueller Files Motion To Hide Evidence From Parties He Has Indicted

Russians getting to you, Bob?

From the “we’re already ignoring the Constitution” files, Minister of Mopery, Herr Mueller, has decided that he can indict people without having to provide evidence for the indictment to those he has charged.

Special counsel Robert Mueller and his deputy Rush Atkinson filed a 14-page motion Tuesday arguing that the government shouldn’t have to release certain evidence to indicted Russian company Concord Management and Consulting LLC due to ongoing “interference operations” against the United States.

But,

In the United States, criminal defendants are entitled–by virtue of an almost sacred right–to view the evidence used against them. This right undergirds the basic foundation of America’s adversarial legal system.

Sununu May Veto Net Metering Expansion and Fuel Diversity Bill

vetoThere’s a rumor goin’ round that Gov Sununu is planning to veto two pieces of legislation. The first, SB446, would drive up electric rates by forcing companies like EverSource to buy more green energy at retail rates (instead of wholesale) for qualified “green energy” from anyone who generates it in the State.

The second, SB365, would also drive up rates by mandating that power companies purchase MORE Biomass “green” energy.

Environmental virtue-signaling costs you more. It costs businesses more. It costs jobs, growth, you get the picture.

Notable Quote – Roger Kimball

On what rot the 1960s wreaked upon today (emphasis mine):

“Only a few periods in American history,” the New York Times intoned in an editorial called “In Praise of the Counterculture”:

… have seen such a rich fulfillment of the informing ideals of personal freedom and creativity that lie at the heart of the American intellectual tradition. … The 60’s spawned a new morality-based politics that emphasized the individual’s responsibility to speak out against injustice and corruption.

A “new morality-based politics,” eh? It seems so long ago, shrouded in a Day-Glo glaze of grateful recollection. But when it comes to the Sixties, and especially the fulcrum year of 1968, Time magazine is right: “50 Years After 1968, We Are Still Living In Its Shadow.” Indeed, paroxysms of the 1960s, which trembled with gathering force through North America and Western Europe from the mid-1950s through the early 1970s, continue to reverberate throughout our culture. The Age of Aquarius did not end when the last electric guitar was unplugged at Woodstock. It lives on in our values and habits, in our tastes, pleasures, and aspirations. It lives on especially in our educational and cultural institutions, and in the degraded pop culture that permeates our lives like a corrosive fog.

SCOTUS Protects Rule of Law by 5-4 Decision in Ohio Election Case

Supreme_Court_Building_at_DuskIn a case brought against the State of Ohio over how it interprets Federal law regarding the removal of ineligible voters from state voting rolls, four out of nine Justices attempted to legislate from the bench in deciding HUSTED v. A. PHILIP RANDOLPH INSTITUTE.

“Respondents contend that Ohio’s process for removing voters on change-of-residence grounds violates this federal law,” The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), and Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA).

The majority makes it clear this is not the case, summed up as follows.

Virginia State Supreme Court Says Gov. McAuliffe Can’t Give Felons Voting Rights

13-terry-mcauliffe.w710.h473.2x NYMag.com

I know, what’s with all this court crap, Steve? I hear you. It’ll get “worse” before it gets better. June is a busy month for those stories, and this one comes to us from Virginia, where the governors are as likely to be headed to court as anyone, and felons got the vote until they didn’t.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s action restoring the voting rights of more than 200,000 felons was unconstitutional, Virginia’s highest court ruled Friday, siding with Republican lawmakers who said the governor overstepped his authority.
