Even as Joe Biden proclaims, a la 1984 and Animal House, “Keep calm! All is well!” most of us need only look at the difference between what goes into the grocery bag and what comes out of our wallets and know that things are not well.
And if we want to make things better, we dang well better not stay calm at all!
It is stark, the difference, yes? Bideninflation has stolen any kind of overall wage increases from the American people. As Powerline points out:
This is the chart that ought to terrify Democrats, as the question “are you better off than you were four years ago?” will be the killer question for the 2024 election.
Are you better off? I’m not.
And it should be terrifying for Dems – just look at all of their policies and point to me, just ten that are making our lives better. Heck, try five!
It shouldn’t have to be the Republicans that point this out all the time – we KNOW this every time we yank out our wallets and have to pay for something. And then the Government is taking more and more from us as it seems that every month and quarter, Government revenues rise. Yet they just can’t stop spending our money to make themselves feel as if they are doing something wonderful.
