If you don’t know where you came from, then any road in front of you is acceptable. If you don’t know what didn’t work in the past, why worry about what lies in front of you?
T]he deprogramming Left seeks to wash all memory away. In the cosmic quest for equity, justice, and diversity, there can be no fake absolute standards. For the Left, the moral ends are simply too exalted to worry about the means of obtaining them. Violence for equity is nonviolence. Rioting, arson, and looting in the service of justice is justice for the marginalized.
Before we are all reprogrammed, remember for a bit longer that the reset of memory and truth is not just a political agenda, but a holistic effort to redefine our past, present, and future, to change not just what we think but how we think—or do not think.
This desire to wash all memory away was the secret, after all, to Joe Biden’s virtual candidacy. The implicit promise was always just to vote for nothingness and then all the acrimony, all the rioting, all the fires and looting, all the media craziness, all the cancel culture, all the Twitter wars, all the hysteria would simply vanish with the disappearance of our Emmanuel Goldstein [Big Brother of Orwell’s 1984 or did you forget that as well? -Skip] —and a new, undefined but far better world would take its place. And then at last you too could forget the past, and thereby come to love what you’ve become in the present.

If you don’t understand how your country came to be, who cares what others wish it to become?
Note the word “undefined” – he’s absolutely right. Obama was undefined – so how could you fight the Socialist Alinskyist future into which he wished to “transform” the US?
Hope and Change turned out to be whatever he needed at the moment – and it certainly changed a lot as well. Problem is, he believed his own hype and got frustrated that others didn’t just go along with it.
All we hear from Progressives is that “we HAVE to move forward!”. Seriously, what does that even MEAN? What is FORWARD? Forward to WHAT?
It’s easy for them to do a talking point “a more equitable future” or some such nonsense. Ask them “define it”. And when they upchuck more pablum, demand that they define those as well.
At some point, they can’t. At some point, you learn that not only does the Left want to erase all women by replacing them with men, they want to erase YOU as well.
Especially if you question their Narrative that, when picked apart, they can’t defend.
It is upon us, then and regardless of the insufficient education the Government Schools are doing, to teach our children and grandchildren what is important. What is necessary.
And then teach them how THEY should look at all these dots of knowledge, connect them in myriads of ways, so they can remember and think critically.
There’s a reason why schools don’t teach history and why kids who aren’t learning are being passed up the grade levels…
They become prey of those that wish to use them, dominate them, and use them as shock troops against those of us who do have the memories of what is important.
