It is a pleasure to read essays by classics professor Victor Davis Hanson at any time, but especially when he’s explicating the Big Picture, as he does in his seminal political essay, Tuning Out a President. However, what’s surprising in his case is the fervor, insight, and sheer volume of commentary that often follows such pieces There are often hundreds of responses, many proving to be extremely insightful.
