It’s estimated “only low hundreds” of Americans were left behind in Afghanistan, and “maybe they chose to stay”? And maybe we should believe Biden is a master strategist and political savant and only acts like a befuddled idiot to fool our unfriendly opponents?
Really, I think that’s what his Administration is hoping they can sell to their rank and file though I doubt most of the rest of us will see it like that. Come to think of it; I can’t see even the most gullible buying that either.
Back 20-25 years ago, the Taliban was using a soccer field for their public executions. Hanging men accused of being gay, shooting women on their knees pleading for their lives for the offense of not wearing a bourka before being shot in the backs of their heads.
Adultery accusations got women stoned to death. Men were mercifully beheaded for any real or imagined offense. The field was busy every day, and videos were sneaked out somehow then.
What’s changed since then?
Nothing. Muhammed forbids changing even a word of his commandments. So what will become of all those thousands of Afghans we left behind?
Okay, you’re an atheist and don’t believe in religion, any religion at all. Do you mind if those of us, who do pray, that our fellow Americans who are trapped and abandoned over there, in a land controlled by a barbaric and ruthless terrorist culture, can in some miraculous way stay safe and escape from the midlevel mentality of the Taliban or ISIS or any number of other crazies looking to make examples/revenge of Americans?
While we’re at it, can we pray for the many thousands of Afghan women who taught school, had jobs, or a business, or whose husband was working for us in some way, that the Biden administration helpfully supplied all their names, addresses, and telephone numbers to the Taliban? Like it or not, we’re praying for them all, and don’t you dare say we can’t.
Is there any indication in anyone’s mind that these terrorists have ever shown any compassion or empathy to others? No! These groups are fanatically Islamists and will follow exactly what their prophet Muhammed ordered them to believe and do back in the dark ages, science, and morality be damned.
They rape, torture, enslave, and murder because Muhammed did. If you’re on the Left and an atheist, there is no logic or reason you can say for excusing this activity. If you’re on the Left and a person of religion, of any other than Islam, there is no way you can excuse this. This is not a political issue; it is an issue of civilized moral behavior, simple as that.
Deny that you deny reality. You deny morality. You betray your own self.
