Certainly, we who are immersed in this political swamp get it – WE have to be gracious (and we were) at the time of some Progressive’s passing. Progressives at the time of a Conservative’s death – “good riddance, one foe down.” One held high, the other to be whipped.
It’s what we’re used to but we KNOW that is the reaction that is the default of the Left’s mouthpieces in the MSM. Ordinary people? This is whom they are trying to sway, one little [blunt] nuance at a time. The proverbial Progressive drumbeat.
Now, does it really bother me as to what WaPo writes? No – it’s expected. The point here is to show the double standard – the MSM isn’t equally objective one side to the other. They keep claiming they are, that “you should trust us!” all the time, but when you keep insulting half your potential readership, do you expect us to view you with open arms?
