Sure, it’s old news that US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi came back from her San Fran vacation and blew up what was then a rare bipartisan effort to get a coronavirus stimulus bill.
Sidenote: Yeah, I know – “bipartisan” means the UniParty got together and shafted us. Remember, at least in this, they may be “sending” money to all kinds of entities but they are using our “future” money to give us our money now (and we’ll get to pay the interest on it in the future). No matter the purpose, it’s all a deal to be able to be seen as “doing something”.
A rush job that got slammed to a complete stop over the Christmas Tree of Progressive stocking stuffers from their bag of Democrat Agenda items they have for crisis cases that should never go to waste.
This post, however, is about how the topline mainstream media runs blocking play after blocking play in defense of their Party. Here’s an example of how it was done at the New York Times. Notice the progression – from “straight” news to more of that blocking bit:
- Actual news
- Oops, we can’t do that – get Democrats to look like they’re “protecting” blue-collar workers. Actually, nothing changed.
- Ah, more partisan leverage needed – yank the Republicans into this and start making them look like “the heels”
It was noted that every time the headline changed, no disclosure was ever made. Sorta like how Democrats think how guns kill people (that guns just discharge themselves without any human intervention).
And then the finish:
And VOILA! The actual Narrative flips to its real purpose – blame the Republicans that you aren’t getting a check funded by your money from the future (oh wait, it’s only about the check and not where it comes from). Nice sleight of hand over just one day (3/22 – 3/23). HOW DARE THOSE COLDHEARTED REPUBLICANS gum up the works – they’re taking money from BABIES!

And the MSM just CAN’T seem to understand why they aren’t trusted by those of us on the Right?
Just ask yourselves – how often does a “mistake” like this turn out to favor the Right?
