Lies, damned lies, and media lies. Pardon my redundancy. That’s the state of modern reporting these days. And the list of lies is immense in the age of Trump. Not to mention (though here I am doing just that) the half-truths and lies by omission.
And when a potential pandemic loomed the lie-makers kept it in ‘left’ gear and stomped on the accelerator – forward! All the while bitching and moaning about racist policies (like travel bans) that were helpful.
Left-wing stenographers and poo-flinging progressive media monkeys first, everything else second. So, it behooves us to find more honest reporting and that includes reporting on their reporting.
I talked about this yesterday.
We need a watchdog for the so-called media watchdogs. And since it happens to be Sunshine week, this post fits nicely with my earlier remarks.
We could plumb the past few years and find a wealth of disingenuous, dishonest reporting. Outright fabrications, deceptive editing, and story selection demonstrate a deliberate program to hide the truth from the light. And the results would be extensive, but we need not look further back than the past week.
Major media outlets in multiple mediums are pushing edited quotes for partisan purposes. Lying about the state of the nation’s response to a crisis. A panic they have yet to take credit for creating.
In other words, where’s the sunshine week for that?
The answer is that every week is Sunshine Week when it comes to holding the media and government accountable. It’s why we’re here. And we rely on our readers to both provide evidence to expose these acts of fraud, deliberate or by omission, as well as to share what we publish in return. To that end, we have this.
John Nolte, at Breitbart, has compiled a useful list of things to help you get through the quarantine media BS. Coronavirus response lies that journalists tell you (so far). Not fringe activist media. Not a narrative proposed and shared by some basement-dwelling malcontent. Lies sold as news by paid reporters working for multi-billion-dollar media concerns.
I encourage you to read the notes under each. Nolte explains each with links proving the lie. Which you should keep handy as you confront them on Social Media. Especially if these turn up on local political Facebook groups for towns, cities, or counties. The so-called unfiltered pages. Places where local moderate or independent voters may be lurking without engaging.
Those are the folks who need to be shown or reminded that the media is compromised and deliberately lying to you nearly non-stop.
