Harry Reid’s excuse for refusing to bring the Obama Tax away jobs bill to the Senate floor was a busy floor schedule. This is only important because Reid and the Narrative gang are busy blaming Republicans. But Dirty Harry Reid might as well have said he couldn’t do it because he had to wash his hair or arrange his sock drawer.
The same Senate that cannot be bothered to address the matter of a budget–except when erecting straw men about Republicans obstructing this or refusing to fund that when they already know there is money available–does not appear to have much in the way of important business.

• Designating Sept. 12 as National Day of Encouragement and Sept. 23 as National Falls Prevention Awareness Day.
• Passing a resolution in support of National Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month.
• Declaring October National Principals Month.
• Creating a National Estuaries Day.
• Honoring this the International Year of Chemistry.
• Passing the Burmese Freedom and Democracy Act.
• Recognizing Sept. 24 as a Worldwide Day of Play.
The real problem is that the bill is crap. No Democrat in congress want’s their name anywhere near it, and Obama does not seem to care as long as he can continue to blame congress. Not very supportive when it is already clear that Obama is going to cost Democrats seats.
So Democrats are the ones obstructing the process. They are blocking Obama not Republicans. The Democrats are demagoging every continuing resolution. The Democrats refuse to address the lack of a budget, which would prevent all of these other problems and recurring "government shut down" threats. And to be honest, so what. November 2010 was just a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. We were never going to get anything done with Reid and Obama in the way. It’s all just pay acting for the real thing in January 2013 after we finish what we started and vote them out of the way.
And Obama? He’s just making a fool out of himself and everyone knows it. Worst. President. Ever.
