THE SILENCE OF VICTIM ADVOCACY

“The trust of the innocent is the liar’s most useful tool.” ~Stephen King, American Writer

Former Keene, NH resident 38-year-old Kerry Touzin walks free today. She walks free despite having falsely accused another of rape.  Police agencies from Vermont, Massachusetts and New Hampshire spent more than 150 hours investigating and arresting the person she accused of rape. While in custody, the man fully cooperated with police. Charges were dropped against the man and Touzin was charged, according the the Keene Sentinel
and Union Leader.

Kerry Touzin got off light. She was sentenced to 360 days in Jail, having served 60 and the 300 remaining were suspended upon good behavior. We should not be surprised. Keen is one of those bastions of liberalism where, despite Touzin’s reprehensible act that nearly cost another his freedom, she is still treated as a victim.

Aside from professional athletes, we are seeing more frequent media accounts of false allegations of domestic violence and rape. We have finally arrived at a place in society where we are acknowledging that perhaps there are some among us who see such allegations as a means to exert power over others.

Professional athletes not included because they are, “high value targets” in the word of false accusations. False allegations of rape in that arena reap significant financial rewards when the accuser can make it stick.

But what we as a society need to be most concerned about is the rank silence of the women’s and victims advocacy groups. That silence arises out of their direct and indirect complicity in false allegations. Conventional wisdom would tell us that these groups would be first out of the gate to condemn such heinous acts of falsely accusing others of rape.  A False allegation of rape adversely affects the real victims of rape and sexual violence. Women’s advocacy groups have a very big stake in disavowing such immoral reports because false reports hurt the credibility of very people they are trying to help…the very real victims.

But that very silence comes from the emergent historical realization that with victim advocacy come power…political power. And that power is often maintained at all costs…even when there is evidence to suggest that a report may be false, such groups do not confront that very issue. They do not even acknowledge it. Thus, we hear their silence.

From their pro-feminist surrogates we hear cries of, “You’re so bitter!” and, “You need to get over your anger at women!” and other such redundant and ridiculous caterwauling. However, anger is a legitimate human emotional reaction to injustice and the passive acceptance of such evil by these “feminazis” is hardly a virtue.

And then there are those other surrogates who are dishonest to their very moral core. It is they who will never accept the reality of a false accusation…accepting that legal conditions do exist where one can exert power over another by means of extra-legal options. While they might acknowledge facially a false allegation, they will always redirect the conversation back onto the “very real victims” enabling the false reporters to not get the face time they so richly deserve. This was a common ploy during the child abuse witch hunts that took place in the 80’s and 90’s.

The truth is never decided by people in great numbers subscribing to it.  A correct conclusion is never reached by embracing the middle ground of opposing viewpoints in the quest for the logical fallacy of “False Compromise”.

Women like Kerry Touzin should be in jail. There should be a very high cost extracted for falsely accusing another of a crime that never took place. Victims advocacy groups never rally around a falsely accused person when it is discovered. Instead they run back to their rat holes and hide like the rats they are.  Victim-witness advocacy organizations are little more than covens for those who maintain a callous indifference to men.  And many cling to the viewpoint that men, in their very existence, are the problem. Why therefore, should men care about the mission of the victim advocacy’s mission since such advocacy for men as victims is not addressed in any meaningful way?
