Lube Job Redux

It’s been fun to watch the Soap Opera unfold after AIDS Services got caught up in a kerfuffle over ‘sex kits’ distributed at Monadnock High School.  Everyone went into CYA mode as what seemed like a perfectly normal activity for progressive thinkers, hiding behind the AIDS quilt to advocate irresponsible underage sex, met the reality of public outrage.

Note the similarities between the disconnected comments of post-modern liberal "thinkers" prior to the November 2nd 2010 elections.  They really think they are in touch with the will of the people.

Oops.  Let me get you napkin.

While they are cleaning that mess up, how about this one.  Susan Mac Neil, in an email to a "concerned person," pointed out that these "Safe Sex Kits" are provided to her by the state.  And they "do not censor which kind of lube (they) put in the kits based on the audience."

And why would they?  According to Ms. Mac Neil in the very same email, "safe sex kits do not promote sex."

"They include condoms and lube, two components of having safe sex in order not to contract any sexually transmitted disease, including HIV. Using Condoms without lubricant is not a safe sex practice."

So these are must have items for sexual activity, but they do not promote sex.

Did you get that part about the kits being supplied by the State of New Hampshire?  Just checking. So maybe the state can provide us with the approved list of approved alternate uses for flavored lube and condoms?

Better yet, someone ask Ms. Mac Neil.  I’m sure her answer will be more than entertaining.
