Obama Micro-Historian

by Steve MacDonald
Courtesy of Politico via NH Watchdog-apparently Mr. Obama is now blaming people for things that never happened in the past that he never even suggested.
In an interview with Politico, the president said: “I think it’s fair to say, if six months ago, before this spill had happened, I had gone up to Congress and I had said we need to crack down a lot harder on oil companies and we need to spend more money on technology to respond in case of a catastrophic spill, there are folks up there, who will not be named, who would have said this is classic, big-government overregulation and wasteful spending.”
Well Mr. President, I think it’s fair to say, if twenty-four months ago’s you went before the American people and said I’m an arrogant, inexperienced, thin-skinned, corrupt, partisan, socialist, big government insider, there are a few million folks, who will not be named, who would have said, this guy is just an empty suit with no leadership skills, and you’d still be voting present in the Senate, and this would be John Mc Cain’s problem not yours.
