Press Release: The School District Governance Association of NH: 1st Amendment Rights and the Manchester School Board

Press Release: 12/6/2018
Contact: Skip Murphy ( skipm@metrocast.net)

School District Governance Association of New Hampshire
First Amendment Rights in School District Governance

The SDGA holds that the preexisting Rights enumerated in the First Amendment are sacrosanct and must never be infringed upon even in difficult situations such as we see taking place with the Manchester School Board (“MSB”). We speak of MSB members castigating another member for using the District’s email system in factually correcting an 18 year old student’s Op-ed that criticized the current teacher contract negotiations that was published both the student newspaper and an outside media website.

We side with the First Amendment in all cases – it is what distinguishes America from almost all other nations in allowing the free flow of ideas without Government coercion. It either holds true in all cases or merely becomes a privilege doled out by those in power – which the MSB members seemingly are doing. Thus, we speak out in defense of Rachel Phelan’s Right to Free Speech in her right to criticize the MSB’s efforts during this contract negotiation.

Similarly, we also speak out in defense of Rich Girard’s

Boston University has failed Miserably

By Jim Johnson

Alexandria Ocasio-Ortiz (Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations from Boston University):

What we had was an existential threat in the context of a war. We had a direct existential threat with another nation, this time it was Nazi Germany, and the Axis, who explicitly made the United States as an enemy, as an enemy.

Me:

Wrong, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor President Roosevelt proclaimed:

“Yesterday, December seventh, 1941, a date which will live in infamy, the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan”. The U.S. declared war on Japan December 8, 1941. Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, Japan’s Axis partners declared war on the U.S December 11,1941.

What Would Happen Under Martial Law In The United States?

By Sam Bocetta

Martial law is a subject that many people have heard about but far fewer actually understand. Truth be told, most people don’t understand just how serious of a situation martial law is or what it would entail should it ever be declared on a city-wide, state-wide, or national scale. In this article, we’ll dive into what martial law is, when and why it would be declared by the government, and what would happen if it were ever to be declared.

What Is Martial Law?

To put it simply, martial law is defined as the suspension of ordinary law and the imposition of direct government (and almost always military) control over the population. In other words, the government will act as the courts and the police all at once, and they will use the military and law enforcement to enforce whatever they should decree. If when you think of the term ‘martial law’ you also think of tanks rolling through your streets and National Guard or military units swarming in and setting up checkpoints left and right, that’s honestly not too far off from what martial law would look like.

When/Why Would Martial Law Be Declared?

ICYMI – Attention Catholics: Before you Donate, CCHD Is A Front for Radical Left Wing Activism

BUMPED: from 12/17/17

By Jim Kofalt

If you attend a Catholic Mass this weekend, you might be asked to contribute to something called the “Catholic Campaign for Human Development” (CCHD). The annual collection for CCHD takes place the weekend before Thanksgiving, and it is ostensibly aimed at alleviating poverty. What many Catholics don’t know – and what the leaders of CCHD will never tell you – is that CCHD is an organization with roots deeply embedded in the traditions of Saul Alinsky and radical leftist politics. CCHD funds have been used routinely for purposes that conflict sharply with what most Catholics believe. CCHD is a political organization – not a charitable one.  The fact that CCHD continues to collect donations from unwitting Catholics is tantamount to fraud.

ACORN, the left-wing political organization that took credit for helping to get Barack Obama elected in 2008, received over $7.3 million from CCHD over the course of a decade.
