Female Republican Leaders Outraged Over Democrat Gun Ban

Reps-Hall NH House

Joint Statement – Rep. Kim Rice and Rep Jeanine Notter

The first order of business for the Democrat-controlled New Hampshire House of Representatives was to channel their inner fascist by the banning of firearms, a page right of the Third Reich’s playbook.  If those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it, for Democrats to actually suspend the constitution in order to strip the right of self-defense from duly-elected NH legislators and render them helpless, the average citizen has much to fear.

While Rep. Jeanine Notter, of Merrimack, Deputy Republican Floor Leader, and Rep. Kim Rice, Hudson, Republican Policy Leader knew NH Democrats would likely demand disarmament, as women they are doubly outraged.

Notter exclaimed, “When you consider that the average assailant attacking a woman is five inches taller and 45 pounds heavier.  If someone tiny like me is forced to engage in an unarmed fight against a criminal assailant, NH Democrats will ensure that I am the one who will be injured.”

Republican Policy Leader, Rep. Kim Rice, of Hudson, has actually had threats made against her safety in the recent past. “I find it ironic that we just took an oath to uphold the Constitution and the first order of business for the Democrats was to strip me of my constitutional right to bear arms!” Rice further stressed  “Research has shown time and time again that a woman defending herself with a handgun is 2.5 times less likely to be injured than one who submits.  That NH Democrats, the so-called party of women, would deliberately seek to make me a victim is beyond parody, it is a danger to every woman in New Hampshire.”
