Turn Your Head And Cough

Looks like the FDA is looking to change how we get our cough syrup.  They are holding a hearing on September 14th to review their fabulous new idea–to require a doctors prescription to get the same cough remedy you currently get over the counter. You would need to go to and pay for a doctor … Read more

What’s With The intimidation Tactics?

"urmnt urmnt, urmnmurmt murmnemen".Bill Wynne, a volunteer(?) for the Giuda campaign, made an interesting statement on the NHRVC Facebook page the other day. He’s talking about his favorite candidate knowing full well the NHRVC long ago endorsed Jennifer Horn.

"Hey Kevin, did you see Bob’s 4 30 sec spots I did for the campaign? I posted it to the Grok and they removed it because they do not believe in "freed of speech and expression". I have several vids ready to release about that group, but waiting for the general. They are not registered with the SOS and making endorsements. Not a good position to take. It’s too bad they are so biased. I saw that woman’s video Jennifer something on the 2nd amendment. I wouldn’t have published something of such poor quality not only in sound but video and fuzzy graphics. A real turn off for the viewer and tells what the inside of the campaign may look like putting something like that"

Emphasis mine

This is interesting for reasons you can’t even begin to imagine but first a bit of clarity.  The Grok started a Facebook page not long ago and Bill was one of our first “friends.”  He immediately challenged our judgment in choosing to endorse Horn (which is fine) but then proceeded to pee Giuda propaganda all over our Facebook page like a Bull Dog marking territory.  He essentially took it over for Bob.

Now I like Bob, and Bill, but let’s have some perspective here.  You don’t pirate someone’s fan page for your own purposes like a gay activist takes over Target.  It’s just not good form.  And Bill was still commenting on the page until yesterday after we confronted him about this comment.  He seems to have since taken his toys and gone home.

But we still need to explore this for reasons that I hope will become apparent.

To begin–in no particular order– Bill’s claim that we are biased is accurate only in that we are as much so as he is, accepting the caveat that we didn’t digitally flash mob someone else’s Facebook page to express our opinion—we use or create one of our own.

While that’s not much of an indictment, what follows might be.

Tony Duh-Fruscia

Anthony DiFruscia is a democrat from Massachusetts who snuck north and infiltrated the GOP.  (Not an uncommon problem for the Granite State). No one had the stones to call him out on it, and year after year he has managed to keep his seat in a Republican leaning district from which he has meddled in other republican races to keep real conservatives from getting elected.

He recently flirted with the idea of leaving the GOP and going with an (I) instead of an (R), but for some reason he’s still a republican and permitted to call himself one.

In response to this a vocal group of actual republicans have risen up to exercise their first amendment rights–making "incendiary" claims about how Mr. DiFruscia’s voting history and the actual GOP platform cannot be brought into alignment without first drinking yourself blind.  And they have this crazy idea that the platform actually means something, and that failing to even get close–maybe 80% of the time–is grounds for a much needed "correction."

Their evil plot?  Use the primary process for its intended purpose and inform the electorate about the records and choices of the people running to represent them.

In response to this free speech assault the bastion of conservative and constitutional (cough-cough) values that Duh-Fruscia presents to the electorate, has penned a letter which you can read after the jump..

By The Numbers

Have You seen how full of Sh*T I am?--It's all right here in this reportPaul Hodes is trying to restyle himself as a fiscal conservative.  As a Washington outsider.  But Washington outsiders don’t get huge campaign donations from the left wings senatorial elite Like Dan Inoyue, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer and Bob Menendez. Paul Hodes does.

Fiscal conservatives don’t manage to come in 45th out of 435 in 2010 earmark requests.  Hodes did, then played at fiscal prudence, calling for reform only after having racked up more earmarks than 390 other House members.

In 2008 Hodes took a 10,000.00 dollar contribution from American Crystal sugar–a business looking for a way to break into ethanol production without burdensome upfront costs–the same year Hodes passed masive Ethanol hand-out farm bill mandates which he voted for, then overrode a veto to make it the law of the land.

Mr Hodes has the distinction of being in congress and voting for a budget and spending that resulted in a 400 billion dollar deficit, then campaigning as if he had nothing to do with, and then voting to triple that deficit to 1.4 trillion in the very next budget.

If you can believe it…there’s more on the jump.

Following Mahoney’s Money Part II -That Dog Just Won’t Hunt.

Under the direction of the disclosure-challenged Pat Hynes Sean Mahoney has surrounded himself with a group  of advertising and political consultants who all share a common thread.  They were all at some point (or still are) part of American’s for Job Security (AJS) and are connected to Mahoney and his Potemkin campaign.

Stephen DeMaura–from Cross Target Poll fame, is the current head of AJS.  Pat Hynes, according to at least one source, is still listed with the Virginia Secretary of State as an AJS director but regardless has been a director with the group; Hynes is of course also involved with CrossTarget, and in the employ of Mahoney to the current tune of at least $32,000.00.  Dave Carney is a former top staffer at AJS and the current CEO of Norway Hill Associates.  Norway Hill has netted over $28,000.00 from the Mahoney campaign for consulting and printing so far.  Michael Dubke, former head of AJS, runs Crossroads Media which is apparently in the same suburban Washington Office Park as AJS; Crossroads has been paid over $569,000.00 by Mahoney for advertising and consulting–mostly Radio and television I would guess.  Dubke, interestingly enough, is valued as an attack ad guy, which explains a spin off from Crossroads–Target Point Consulting which appears to focus on micro-targeting and research, probably for negative campaign  strategies.  Target point’s customers are a well kept secret, so we can hypothesize that Crossroads funnels money to them for research it uses in its ad campaigns for it’s customers, of which Mahoney is a big one.  And oh, look–Mahoney went negative.

Keep following the money–it get’s better.

Following Mahoney’s Money Part I

The recent polling done by CrossTarget for Americans For Prosperity (AFP) has too many links to Mahoney to be taken seriously as an outside poll.   And while trying to research the poll and the people connected to it, I discovered an almost incestuous collaboration of professional political consultants, and insiders to the Mahoney for congress checkbook that all circle around Americans For Job Security.

CrossTarget, the polling organization, was created by Stephen DeMaura and Patrick Hynes, both connected political insiders.  DeMaura is no fan of Guinta, and Hynes works for Mahoney.   So why would AFP choose CrossTarget for a poll given these obvious questions of conflict?  I have no idea why, but it was a bad call by Lewandowski and it questions AFP’s neutrality on the race if there even is one.

As for Hynes and DeMaura, they have connections to a more complex relationship with current and former members of AJS (maybe there’s no such thing a a former member of AJS) that conveniently lead repeatedly back to Sean Mahoney’s campaign expense report.

League Of Conservation Hodes-sters

LCV rolls out the fake grass matThe LCV (League Of Conservation Voters) has an entity registered with the New Hampshire Secretary of State (here) called the LCV political engagement fund, whose stated purpose is "providing grants to other non-candidate New Hampshire Political committees."

Normally we would assume this is to funnel special interest donor money into the state to hide targeted issue or candidate advocacy because that’s what all the other democrat fronts are for and Buckly loves to juggle the money back and forth through them so it’s almost impossible to figure out how the system has been gamed.  But this is a bit more straight forward.

And after someone sent me this ad on Craig’s List,(after the jump) it seemed very much like that could be exactly the purpose.

More Trouble Than They Are Worth

This would have to be filed away as a classic, not just because of its age–it’s a few years old–but because it reminds us of why we don’t want congress and congressman, working–and the busy-body ruling class in general–spending too much time in the swamp.  They cause more problems than they solve.     (Another … Read more

Silent Autumn?

Another Biden Three Letter Word…Failure

Smells just like the health care bill, the bank bill, the...Underestimating, miscalculating, failing to anticipate, these are all excuses used by the democrats for a long caravan of failures that are more the product of blind trust by left-wing sheeple in the judgment of an administration that has been way over its head on every issue…since day one.

One of the biggest is the Stimulus.  Morgen Richmond over at Big Government has some actual numbers comparing the White House forecasts to actual Bureau of Labor figures over the last year. The point of course being that they sold you the all new 2009 Obama Stimulusmobile, (fashioned after the classics socialist economic models of the past) and it turned out to be a lemon just like it’s predecessors.

The affects should be far reaching.  Almost every air breather with a (D) not only bought the plan, they sold it as if their lives depended on it.  Not only were they stupid to believe it, they were wrong.  Way wrong.  So now they are pretending it worked.  Sure it did.

A Place To Start–RINO’s For Lynch

RINO HuntingSkip made a good point (here).  That one of the reasons the baby killing, parent denying, taxing, spending, fund robbing, fibber John Lynch even has a shot at a "unprecedented fourth term" as governor, is because republicans vote for him.

He’s not a moderate.  He’s just a quiet liberal, you know the type. Well, no you don’t.  If you did, you would not vote for him.

While the pillory might be a bit excessive, knowledge is a powerful thing.  And so is history.  Back in 2008 Ed Naile was kind enough to publish the list for the ‘Republicans for John Lynch Steering committee.’

May we find them and steer them back to the right, or right out of the Republican party.

List on the jump. (Along with the town of residence at the time the list was compiled.)
