Incessant Cries for Unity

Freedom_hating RINOJen Kuznizki (conservative writer) would fit in just fine around here…

I’m mindful that the Democrat Party is really, really awful.  They try to get elected by saying their Republican opponent will take away the poor’s welfare and they’re a bunch of racist bigots.  But then, the Barbours in Mississippi on behalf of Thad Cochran said the same thing about the conservative running against them in the primary, so I guess I’m confused, how can I say the Democrats are really awful, and not our own liberal leadership?

She is writing about her exit from the Michigan Republican party, and their incessant cries for unity despite their despicable and escalating addiction to progressive prescriptions.

The Battle of Competing Resentments

resentment - Psychology today

The Democrat party is the party of labels, stereotypes, and prejudice.  It is the party of division.  It feeds off this division to pursue power based on what it promises it can do with that power to get any given division of society whatever they claim or can convince them to think they deserve.  These rights or entitlements are based on the left’s victim-class caricature of not just how the world has done someone wrong, but how they could can never overcome it without Liberals using the power of the government to get even on their behalf.

Democrat Party labels include women, gays, blacks, illegal immigrants, blue-collar union members, underpaid-teachers, criminals, divisions by class, income, age, entitlement status, gender status, urban, rural, coastal, inland, by who they claim is oppressing you, or as combinations of any or all of the above.  These divisions must compete for attention,  influence, and resources plundered by the state, a system of rewards calculated solely on the value of the ability of any given victim class to keep them in power.

About Those ‘Social Issues’

A snippet from Selwyn Duke – American Thinker… rebutting the notion that government should stay out of ‘social issues.’ As I predicted years ago and wrote about here, there now is a movement afoot — one that has received “unbiased” mainstream-media news coverage — to legitimize pedophilia. Moreover, it has co-opted the language of the … Read more

Gov Transparency Site Misses $619 billion, Data They Do Have is Wildly Inaccurate

Doug Powers – Michelle Malkin.com Transparency we can believe in? Red Box Review: Divergent

divergent_poster_hqBefore I get all political, let me say that I enjoyed the movie, Divergent.  I liked the characters, and took an interest in their circumstances, even though I had a hard time suspending disbelief with regard to the world they live in.

Divergent is set in a classic post-apocalyptic progressive utopian society.  Human natures and people in general suck so  experts created an isolated society (in what is left of Chicago) where people are divided into groups with specific roles for which they are “best suited.”

You grow up in the faction your parents chose to live and work in until you ‘come of age’ you are given a test that is supposed to tell you to which the five factions you are most mentally predisposed.

Democrats Obsessed with “Impeaching Obama”

keep-calm-and-impeach-obamaThis will not surprise anyone who spends time inside the sausage factory, but the majority of talk about impeaching President Obama is coming from Democrats.  They are obsessed with using it to fund raise, rile up the base, scare independents away from the GOP, whatever it takes.

But this is a lot like a media flack in a debate asking Mitt Romney his opinion on states banning Birth control?  No states were considering it.  It was a planted question whose purpose was to launch a planned narrative.  The Impeachment thing is no different.

From The Hill c/o Hot Air

Since the start of the 113th Congress last year, Democrats have used the word “impeach” or “impeachment” regarding Obama 86 times, according to a review of the Congressional Record by The Hill.

Celebrate Gary Lambert’s Rigorous 40 Days and 40 Nights of Campaign Finance Review

hand and rainOn July 22nd John DiStaso at NH Journal posted a story about some questionable contributions received by the Lambert campaign.  One-term NH State Senator Gary Lambert is in a primary to challenge Democrat Ann Kuster for congress in NH-CD2.

Lambert for Congress accepted a $1,000 contribution on June 30 from The Palmier Foundation, which is described by its founder, Boston investment firm head Dan Palmier, on his web site, as a “501(c)(3) charitable corporation created for the purpose of ‘giving back.’”

The Internal Revenue Code prohibits 501(c)(3) charitable organizations from contributing to candidates for federal office.

Maggie Hassan’s On-going Culture of Corruption

Maggie the Red Hassan shows us the new civilityNH Governor Maggie Hassan’s may be leading one of the most unethical administrations in recent history.

Before she was even elected there was a large illegal campaign contribution, happily accepted by Hassan until they were told–reluctantly I am sure–that they had to give most of it back.  She was captured on video agreeing that Democrats could beat Republicans with a bat.   Her first budget that included 80 million dollars in revenue that, at the time, did not exist and would be illegal. She played some other (typical) Democrat budget hijinks as well–to make her turd of a first budget look a bit more shiny.

She got in (and I believe lost) a tussle with CT governor Malloy over CT naming hydro as renewable (which it is but not in New Hampshire) and removing wood fired plants from renewables (which I also have no issue him doing because NH Democrats are tree hugging hypocrites who ignore hydro because it would impact their desire for wind and solar projects, but are happy to burn trees and call it green energy.)

That was just the beginning.  Her problems have accelerated dramatically in the last two months.

NH-DOT Transportation Czar Defends Gas Tax Increase

NH Gas tax payerThe NH Department of Transportation Czar, Christopher Clement Sr., took some time (and taxpayer money) out of his otherwise busy day, to give us his thoughts on the 4.2 cent gas tax increase.  It is titled, Fueling the Gas Tax Discussion.  Minister Clement advises us to be wary of political ads bearing false witness–that is to say, you see all those campaign ads about that ‘skyrocketing gas tax’ increase.  Well, those aren’t the droids you’re looking for.

I bet you didn’t know this, but since that tax was implemented gas prices in NH have gone down to $3.58 a gallon.  I guess we can call that extra $33,000,000.00 million dollars Clement estimates this tax will divert from the NH Economy ‘free money’?

Bureaucratic Fist bump!

Not so fast.

CA Democrat Reaches Across the Aisle All The Way To Germany?

DemocratDonkeySomething that is not mentioned often enough in the age of wait lists and ailing vets: New Hampshire Congressperson Ann Kuster sits on the Veterans Affairs Committee, and more specifically–on the subcommittee on health which has direct oversight of….the VA.  (cue Light bulb and ‘Ding’ noise)

But I do not come here today, at this moment, just now, other than in the shadows of penumbras inculcated above, to rag on Ann The McKluster Kuster.  I come to make fun of another Democrat on the Veterans Affairs Committee, who also sits on the subcommittee on health, whom Annie ‘F-Bomb’ Kuster must most certainly know–Julia Brownley.
