Interesting – how many can you count in the “Mission Accomplished” column?

AND ask yourself – how different is it from that of the Democrat Party Platform?  Sent to me by loyal reader John:

This is a list of communist goals to destabilize the United States, as presented to a Congressional hearing in 1963:

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist
affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of
Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United
States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in
progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

Hateful, Hateful speech….

Got REAL hate? My goodness, how uncivil!  Let’s play "Who Said It?" At that point, what appears to be a second voice interjects: “What about saying she’s a whore?” “Well, I’m going to use that,” Brown responds. “It proves you’ve cut a secret deal to protect the pensions.”  The new definition of civility If we … Read more

” But you know how bad that sumbitch lies.” – Obama lie #1 on healthcare

Obama’s version of George H.W. Bush’s lie of "read my lips, no new taxes":

"Here’s a guarantee that I have made. If you have insurance that you like, then you will be able to keep that insurance. If you’ve got a doctor that you like, you will be able to keep your doctor."

That’s one – there’s tons more to come because, well, there are.

Hey, New Hampshire Democrat Chair Ray Buckley – with all of the companies now announcing that they are dropping or radically (HOW appropo a word!) altering their health benefits because of Obamacare – wouldn’t you agree that Progressive President Barack Hussein Obama did not tell the American people the truth?  I can tell you that Obama’s Change has hit my family already on this point – already, doctors that were the family’s doctor are no longer.

Part of being "civil" is telling the truth – and calling a person out when they don’t tell such.  Obama made a Guarantee – tell me, Mr. Buckley, how do the Democrats plan on honoring that?

November is coming – will Obama be a 2 year lame duck President? And will Ray Buckley really be returned to a minor role here in NH with the coming political tsunami washing over him and his Party?

OK, this one is just too serendipitious

How often would Google Ads had the ability to just play this just right?  From Hot Air, their Quote of the Day from Senator Susan Collins (R-ME): "It’s hard out here for a RINO":

“It’s a tough time to be a moderate in the U.S. Senate.  Sitting down with those on the opposite side of a debate, negotiating in good faith, attempting to reach a solution — such actions are now vilified by the hard-liners on both sides of the aisle. Too few want to achieve real solutions; too many would rather draw sharp distinctions and score political points, even if that means neglecting the problems our country faces…

“Oh, how times have changed. When I led the effort in 2009 to try to produce a more fiscally responsible stimulus bill, I was attacked by partisans on both sides. On the left, I was attacked by columnists for cutting $100 billion from the bill and mocked in the blogosphere as “Swine Flu Sue” for my contention that spending for a pandemic flu did not belong in the stimulus package but should be part of the regular appropriations process. On the right, I was denounced as a traitor and a RINO (‘Republican in name only’), and one of my Republican colleagues targeted me for a campaign that generated tens of thousands of out-of-state e-mails denouncing me…

And it goes on for a while longer.  But what was so amusing was to be found at the bottom of the post – how apropo (gee, twice in one day!) of Google:

Subject: plane crash

Apologies to those that this joke truly offended.  Unlike others, I have never wished physical harm upon anyone from the other side of the aisle; it was not my intent or outlook to imply such.  Frankly, what caught my attention in the joke was what the last line imputed: a lack of trust by the … Read more

Obama’s unemployment rate

The latest numbers are out, and so is the use of the word "Unexpected" with an official unemployment rate of 9.6%.  After how much of Stimulus?

Lots of people will blame President Obama and certainly, he deserves all of the blame and shame that comes with seeking, winning, and using the Office of the Presidency in implementing his set of economic policies. Remember, however, that Democrats have controlled both the US House and the US Senate since 2006 – 4 years.  It is the US House that actually comes up with the tax and spend bills (although the Senate also votes on it and the President gets his say with either his signature or veto).

Thus, here in NH, we get to blame our US House Representatives (that would be Carol Shea-Porter and Paul Hodes) and our US Senator (Jeanne Shaheen) that voted for these economic policies.  Thus, they share in this result NO, THEY OWN THIS RESULT:

Obama Job loss

(H/T: ClusterStock)

What does it mean?  The worst unemployment picture EVAH.  Sure, President Bush started the ball rolling along with the Republicans that voted for his policies at the end of his term.  In effect, it has shown that Government control of the economy with Progressive fundamentals (like Pelosi’s insistence that unemployment checks and food stamps are the biggest boost one can give to an economy).

Under Progressive leadership, with their class hatred…

Data point – So, Hodes and Shea-Porter, not giving Obama his desired tax hikes will result in utter despair?

The only gnashing of teeth will come from the Socialist Progressives / Statists that will be denied what is essentially a dime more for spending and more control.  Remember, the Bush tax cuts were back in 2001 and 2003 – once again, the Progressives are trying to redefine our vocabulary – at what point does "repeal" no longer apply?  Obama wants to raise marginal tax rates, he raises taxes for ALL of us.  But does it really matter – or is this Obama further fundamentally transforming America "for fairness"?

Veronique de Rugy is becoming one of my favorite folks online – she does what I would love to do – the research of data set and presentation by visualization techniques (translations for simple Democrats: make hard stuff easy to understand).  In the post, she explains the back ground AND WHY OBAMA IS BEING MISLEADING.  Her conclusion?

If only people cared half as much about killing babies in utero as they do about someone burning a frakin’ Koran… And they miss the point entirely. I Demand a Takedown of Carol Shea-Porter’s “Do You Know Frank Guinta?” Political Ad for Copyright Infringement

Observation 2: Just think, A Republican (your’s truly) doing the job (the video) that a Democrat CAN’T be bothered do on her own…but can steal it!

Observation 1 (Updates 1 & 2 below): Well, including her arrogance in spending everyone else’s money with wild abandon, I guess this shows Carol Shea-Porter’s elitist disdain for the Principle of Private Property: "Oh, I NEED this, so I guess I will just TAKE it" – actions of a true Progressive (remember, Progressivism = Increment Socialism => "what your’s is…well, mine!")

I just got off the phone with Brad who answered the phone at Carol Shea-Porter’s campaign office; I have asked that either the Campaign Manager or the Press Secretary call me in regards to this picture from MY video of a micro-interview of Frank Guinta at the Rochester 9/12 NH CD-1 Congressional Debate:

Her ad, is not on her website (which basically has this shot doubled up on the screen without the folks that show over his right shoulder (our left) in the opening seconds of the ad.  Here is the BAD pic from the TV – I guess now I have to watch for the ad again: WMUR’s James Pindell sent the link – go ahead, look up and then look down.  Similar by accident?  Words to live by: Bridge.  Sell.

MY, how her ad looks just like my video! I HIGHLY doubt that her "tracker" would have gotten that shot exactly as I did!  I am demanding that her campaign no longer use that ad until she receives permission to use my materials.

A call to WMUR, Channel 9, is next.

Update 1:

Just got off the phone with Shaun Neville at WMUR Channel 9 – asked for a copyright infringement takedown – he is trying to find the right person at the station to have that happen.  I told him to look at this post – and yes, he has now seen the image.

Charlie and the Conservatives….Part 2

Tom has a good post on the meeting at Jennifer Horn’s home last night – and that house was packed!  TMEW and I both attended – and no, we were not the folks who traveled the furthest to be in attendance.  Even though we are in District 1 and will be voting for Frank Guinta, I saw it as a "must" opportunity to give Mr. Bass my concerns from the Conservative side of the Republican Party.

He tried to make his points, as Tom pointed out.  Normally, I would have video’d the meeting so that you, our readers, could make up your own minds without the filter of impressions of others (including my own).  Fortunately (or not, depending on your point of view), we were asked not to (even Charlie mentioned the aspect of being YouTube’d in an unflattering matter with such a crowd).

Most of the folks were concerned – very concerned, and they let Charlie know of that concern in no uncertain terms.  Topics ranged from abortion to Cap N Trade to illegal immigration to taxes to Obamacare to….well, you get the message (did Charlie?).  In each aspect of their question, what shown was the message of "smaller government, smaller footprint, less interference in our lives, and stop taking choices away from us."  They want Government to be in the background and "out of their face", wagging its finger in their faces at almost every turn.  They are very concerned that the tipping point is upon us – or perhaps past us.  Uppermost was "has the US devolved into a Socialist Democracy where Government is preeminent rather than us?"
