I Demand a Takedown of Carol Shea-Porter’s “Do You Know Frank Guinta?” Political Ad for Copyright Infringement

by Skip

Observation 2: Just think, A Republican (your’s truly) doing the job (the video) that a Democrat CAN’T be bothered do on her own…but can steal it!

Observation 1 (Updates 1 & 2 below): Well, including her arrogance in spending everyone else’s money with wild abandon, I guess this shows Carol Shea-Porter’s elitist disdain for the Principle of Private Property: "Oh, I NEED this, so I guess I will just TAKE it" – actions of a true Progressive (remember, Progressivism = Increment Socialism => "what your’s is…well, mine!")

I just got off the phone with Brad who answered the phone at Carol Shea-Porter’s campaign office; I have asked that either the Campaign Manager or the Press Secretary call me in regards to this picture from MY video of a micro-interview of Frank Guinta at the Rochester 9/12 NH CD-1 Congressional Debate:

Her ad, is not on her website (which basically has this shot doubled up on the screen without the folks that show over his right shoulder (our left) in the opening seconds of the ad.  Here is the BAD pic from the TV – I guess now I have to watch for the ad again: WMUR’s James Pindell sent the link – go ahead, look up and then look down.  Similar by accident?  Words to live by: Bridge.  Sell.

MY, how her ad looks just like my video! I HIGHLY doubt that her "tracker" would have gotten that shot exactly as I did!  I am demanding that her campaign no longer use that ad until she receives permission to use my materials.

A call to WMUR, Channel 9, is next.

Update 1:

Just got off the phone with Shaun Neville at WMUR Channel 9 – asked for a copyright infringement takedown – he is trying to find the right person at the station to have that happen.  I told him to look at this post – and yes, he has now seen the image.

Update 2:

Here are the email followups:

Good evening, Mr. Moller;

This email should serve as an official notification that you have used my material without my express permission in the political ad your campaign is using "Do you know Frank Guinta".  I demand that you immediate cease use of that ad until you have expressly ask for, and received my permission for your campaign to use my work.

I appreciate your attention to this matter;  I await confirmation that you have notified WMUR and any / all other media outlets to cease publication or transmission of the contents of that ad.

Brad, the receptionist at your campaign office, has my phone information.

Kindest regards,

-Skip

Good evening, Shaun,

This email is being copied to Mike Biundo, Campaign Manager for the Frank Guinta for Congress campaign as well as Rob Moller, Campaign Mgr for the Carol Shea-Porter Campaign.

I am just following up with our conversation of a few minutes ago – again, I am looking for WMUR to halt the transmission or display of the Shea-Porter political ad "Do you know Frank Guinta?".  The specific image of my material can be seen here – it is duplicated in the ad without my express permission.

If you would, please contact me as soon as you have reached someone in your "Traffic department" (as you called it) to have that ad pulled from rotation.

Kindest regards,

-Skip
