The most arrogant….

“The most interesting arrogant man in the world” (H/T: Reuters) REALLY?  Reuters?  One of the Obama boosting MSM?  Yup?  Do I dare issue a “If Obama has lost Reuters…”?  Or is it more of “Really?  Reuters is participating in the Alinskying of Obama?”

So, who IS Obama supposed to be? President? Daddy? Sugar Daddy? Husband? I’m SO confused!

I’m on the email list for “Obama for something” so when I received my very own personalized email (Hey, they know me as  “Friend”) talking about Father’s Day from Caroline Kennedy, I just had to take notice:

I grew up in the White House. I remember as a small child visiting my father in the Oval Office while he worked.  But really, we could have been growing up in any American home. We were just children, happy to see our dad — even if he was stepping out of a helicopter that had landed on our front lawn.  That’s why, on Father’s Day, I’m thinking of Michelle Obama and the girls, and the time they’ll get to spend with the President as a family.  I can appreciate how long the days can be — and how wonderful it feels to know that, no matter how full your father’s plate is, you’re the best part of his day and the most important part of his life.  So I’m joining Michelle and others all around the country to wish the President a happy Father’s Day.   As you acknowledge a special father figure in your own life, I hope you’ll join me by adding your name to tell Barack how much he means to all of us:

I’m so confused by the Left – again!  I know what the word “empowerment” means:

  • Free Dictionary: Its modern use originated in the civil rights movement, which sought political empowerment for its followers. The word was then taken up by the women’s movement, and its appeal has not flagged. Since people of all political persuasions have a need for a word that makes their constituents feel that they are or are about to become more in control of their destinies

So, can you tell me what the hysterical part of this story is?  Here’s the title:

Handouts.  Not a hand-up.  If someone is accepting the former over the latter, that does not exude “empowerment”.  However and finally, a member of Congress coming clean about which the Government actually is doing with its welfare programs.  It has been known for quite some time that single women (especially those with children) look favorably upon Government for EXACTLY this reason (think Obama as Government Sugar Daddy)  and “do vote overwhelmingly Democratic. Why? Because they worry that they may need to fall back on the government for security.”  In fact, a VERY high percentage:  As much as 75 percent of single women vote for Democrats

So, how come Gay Activist and Bullier Dan Savage gets to use the phrase “House Faggots” in describing Gay Republicans?

So, are Frank Guinta and Charlie Bass Conservative heros or zeros for their voting records?

Over at RedState, I learned of this new site, The Madison Project, whose purpose is to measure our Federal Representatives to see if they measure up to their districts.  Put it another way, are they acting as Conservative as their District is, worse, or better.  For instance, if a Rep is very Conservative Republican but is from a very Democrat leaning district, consider them a hero (for as long as they can stay elected, that is).  Or, if they are underperforming (i.e., in a district that is evenly split, but as a Republican, their votes show them to be a squish or vote like a Democrat) consider them a Zero.  Especially when election time comes around:

Worse yet, during every election cycle, nearly every single Republican candidate is quick to promote cherished American values such as free enterprise and individual liberty while out on the campaign trail. EMail Doodlings – Amnesty by ignoring Congress; Rule of Presidential Fiat

Well, my friend Julius emails me from time to time on various topics just because he knows that I.Just.Cannot.Resist in either to let him grumble a tad (hey, we all do it, right) or he wishes to push a button of mine to see what comes out.  This one, I’m not sure which one he was aiming for so here goes:

I have mixed feelings about this article, and was wondering what your take was.  I would normally welcome anyone willing to work and pay taxes vs someone who wants their unemployment benefits extended.  After all, who doesn’t want more workers willing to pay taxes? We can only hope Romney will reduce the 99 wk benefits back to 26…

PS – here’s hoping OH makes progress toward becoming an income-tax-free state.

Obama’s move on immigration is an unconstitutional disaster for the unemployed

President Obama thwarted the will of Congress and shunned the 20 million under-employed and unemployed Americans by announcing he will grant work permits to 2 million to 3 million illegal immigrants.

This appears to be an unconstitutional fiat that not only usurps congressional authority to set immigration policy but directly contradicts what Congress has already decided. The president suggests that his new policy is designed to enact as much of the DREAM Act amnesty as possible because Congress hasn’t acted on its own.  But Congress indeed has acted — three times in votes that rejected granting these illegal aliens the legal residency and work permits that the president now says he will deal out all by himself    Sure, the kids either came here under protest (few kids want to leave their friends behind) or outright dragged with their parents.
