Now THERE’s an idea: Vac N’ Sew….and Glocks!

by Skip

OK, I seemed to be just a tad tired tonite, so just some lite blogging.  Just picked up my broken vacuum cleaner from the local vacuum cleaner and sewing machine store.  When we went in, the repair guy looked at the T-Shirt that TMEW was wearing and smiled “I like the shirt!” (January 20, 2013 / The End of an ErrOr, where the O was Obama’s symbol – to see the actual T-Shirt, go here and watch Herman Cain model it):

Sidenote: OK, both are sorta in the “misc. household appliance” category – but why has this combo of products become a “store type”?  Sorta like Dunkin Donuts and Baskin & Robbins stores – really, buy a donut AND a pint of 1/2 Chocolate Fudge and 1/2 Chocolate Chip?

Anyways, we figured that we weren’t going to have it repaired (we replaced it with a Dyson Animal), so we just asked for the broken one back.  Big dude, wearing a grey shirt and then I noticed the patch: “M&P by Smith and Wesson” and on the arm was “Certified Armorer”.  Not his T-Shirt (from a YouTube):

Smith & Wesson M& P patch

Turns out he’s a certified gunsmith and armorer for M&P, S&W, Glock, and a couple others.  I think that “VacMan & Bobbin & Glock” has a good ring to it for a combo store.  But what would the biz model look like?

Suggestions, please!
