Palate Cleanser: real life or 3D drawing?

January 6, 2020January 6, 2020 Skip

Watching this is pretty amazing! You are actually watching the drawing done, so you know it’s on paper, but when it’s done, it is SO well done you still think it is real and not a drawing! (H/T: OddityCentral)

So now even Mrs. Doubtfire is in trouble??

January 6, 2020January 6, 2020 Skip

Kill everything AND expose their own hypocrisy on everything. And this time they have gone to far (if I was to put this to TMEW as Mrs. Doubtfire is one of her top 3 movies): The Seattle Times and humorless Seattle activists believe the new 5th Avenue Theater production of “Mrs. Doubtfire” is “problematic” because a male character … Read more

So which would you prefer: kowtowing to terrorists or crushing them?

January 6, 2020 Skip

Look, I’m not a hawk on war. I do believe, however, that when a clear and present danger is staring us in the face, and there is a history of past danger carried out, our military should be used to erase threat as was done to General Soliemani. Trump did the right thing. Obama, on … Read more

Prof. Walter E. Williams is one of my most favorite columnists – his writings are always about base Principles, his writings are pithy and instructive, and they are to the point in ways that most people can’t write similarly or with such clarity. While I do a lot of “notable quotes” and fisking of other … Read more

But given what he’s been saying so far, that’s EXACTLY what Bernie Sanders wants!

January 6, 2020 Skip

So Bernie gets pwned twice over. First is in this obvious one – he DOES want to take everyone’s money. Just look at his “plans” for what he wants to do! At this point, his Medicare for All / Universal Healthcare has such a large price tag, he’s been reduced to just waving his hand, … Read more

Notable Quote – EXACTLY my complaint against the Gilford Selectmen

January 6, 2020 Skip

Emphasis mine: Careful observers often and correctly note that, for many of its adherents, environmentalism is a religion. Too many environmentalists disregard inconvenient truths that would undermine their faith that calamities are percolating just over the horizon. It might well be that humans’ “footprint” on the Earth is larger than ever; it might even be … Read more

Using Alinsky’s Force: Cruz pushes Senate resolution praising Soleimani mission, daring Dems to oppose It

Sometimes, politics gets both weird and petty but still amusing at the same time. The Democrats are FURIOUS beyond belief that Trump took out General Soliemani who was responsible for many American deaths and injuries during the Iraqi War.
