Tonight 19 year old Republican Yvonne Dean-Bailey won the Rockingham 32 special election. Dean-Baily (Republican) carried Nottingham, Northwood and Candia while Maureen Mann (Democrat) won her hometown of Deerfield. This election had been fraught with outrageous behavior from Maureen Mann and her campaign staff along with her supporters throughout the beginning but clearly voters decided to vote for the candidate they thought would best represent them.

Derry unions continue to lie and fear monger over tax cuts but unions are to blame for the cuts
Today the Union Leader reported that a group in Derry is going to hold a rally for the Derry Fire Department before the Derry Town Council’s vote on thebudget (even inviting union members from out-of-town). Really it’s nothing more than a union rally but unions like to pretend they are ‘grassroots’ citizens. As previously reported, the budget cuts have been extremely contentious in Derry.
Education Bill ALERT: HB 323 Compromise in Jeopardy
Guest post from Michelle Levell:
HB 323, the waiver bill, has been an extremely complicated and contentious bill all year. Multiple amendments have been proposed, but only one offered an acceptable compromise, the Bradley amendment, #1572s. Only this amendment specifically allows the SAT or ACT to be used as the 11th grade statewide assessment and closes the vague “such as” and “well established” loop-holes of other amendments. The Bradley amendment reduces testing, respects parents’ rights to refuse their child’s participation, and satisfies superintendents’ requests to use the SAT or ACT.
NH BOE’s Bill Duncan is lying and working against children and parental rights
Today ‘School Choice for New Hampshire’ wrote about the latest compromise in House Bill 323 – “An Act relative to the administration of the statewide assessment program.” Proponents of the original bill want to take local control out of the hands of parents and school boards and have it at a regional level. Opponents are fighting against this because school districts need to be controlled at the local level, not by some bureaucrats who have no idea what is going on in the district.

Most people know all about the Democrats most recent election fraud email regarding the special election in Rockingham’s 32nd district.
NH Dems have history of email fraud: Rockingham 32 is no exception
On Thursday the Concord Monitor reported a hoax email that was sent claiming to be on behalf of Yvonne Dean-Bailey, the young Republican woman running for the open representative seat in Rockingham’s 32nd district (Nottingham, Northwood, Candia and Deerfield). The email claims that Dean-Bailey is ‘conceding’ from the race against Democrat Maureen Mann.
The victimization propaganda of women by the left: ‘Enough is enough’
The Hypocrisy, intolerance and deplorable treatment of Yvonne Dean-Bailey by Maureen Mann and Democrats
May 19th will be a special election in Rockingham District 32 which incorporates Nottingham, Northwood, Deerfield and Candia. The candidates in the running are Yvonne Dean-Bailey (Republican) and Maureen Mann (Democrat).
Maureen Mann is a former state rep who lost her re-election bid which means she has a voting record. Yvonne Dean-Bailey is a college student running for the first time. The differences between the two is like night and day. Mann is fully on board with bigger government, higher taxes and less freedom while Dean-Bailey is for smaller government, lower taxes and more freedom.
Another twist in the ‘Balsams Boondoggle’: The financing scam
On Wednesday a huge majority in the New Hampshire House voted to pass Senate Bill 30 aka the “Balsams Bill.” The bill allows “unincorporated places” to become a tax district, which also means they can now get funding from the state and have all taxpayers foot the bill if the deal fails. Of course, many legislators don’t want it to be referred to as the “Balsams Bill” but this bill didn’t come up any other year until developer Les Otten had his hand out demanding the state front a bond for him or he wouldn’t bother developing – “Plan B is Plan A.”
Ladies Only Range Day shows women’s growing interest in firearms
On Sunday the Grafton County Fish and Game Association in West Lebanon held their 3rd Annual Ladies Only Range Day (L.O.R.D.). It’s a ladies only event where ladies can shoot pistols and revolvers, rifles, shotguns and this year they added archery. Many of the women who attend have never shot a firearm; some have shot pistols but not rifles and others have hunted but never shot pistols.
Democrats send outrageous and asinine mailer for Maureen Mann
Yesterday the New Hampshire Democrat Party sent a mailer to voters in Rockingham District 32 for the special election coming up on May 19th. The district includes Candia, Deerfield, Nottingham and Northwood. The two candidates in the running are Yvonne Dean-Bailey (Republican) and Maureen Mann(Democrat). The problem with the mailer is it’s not only filled with outrageous and asinine lies but it neglects to mention that neither Mann nor Dean-Bailey are current representatives who had no vote on the budget.
Bogus pistol license poll used by Democrats mocks their constituents
Yesterday Senate Bill 116 aka ‘Constitutional Carry’ was passed in the New Hampshire House by a vote of 212-150. Even though this bill was passed by both the Senate and house, Governor Hassan said she will vote against the will of the people and veto it. In her statement she states “citizens across New Hampshire, have strong public safety concerns about allowing people to carry concealed guns without a license.” Which leads one to believe she has read a bogus poll that recently came out.
Constitutional Carry advances in NH House: What will Governor Hassan do?
Today Senate Bill 116 aka Constitutional Carry was passed in bi-partisan fashion in the New Hampshire House. There was little debate on the floor with 3 representatives arguing for the bill and only 2 arguing against it. No questions were asked and the bill passed 212 – 150. The bill will go to the Senate conference committee and then be sent to Governor Hassan.
‘Balsams Boondoggle’ continues with hearing on Senate Bill 30
Yesterday the New Hampshire House Finance Committee held a public hearing on Senate Bill 30 (SB 30). The bill is “AN ACT relative to the establishment of redevelopment districts in unincorporated places.” It also changes the amount of the bonds the state can guarantee from $25,000,000 to $28,000,000 (the exact amount “needed” for the Balsams project to move forward) among other things.
What most people are calling this bill is “The Balsams Bill” or the “Balsams Bailout Bill.” Why? Because this bill never came up until the developer of the Balsams, Les Otten, informed the locals that he would need $28 million in order to move forward with his Balsams project.
Maureen Mann is lying to voters in Rockingham’s 32nd District – Her votes prove it
Yesterday there was a letter to the editor in the Concord Monitor asking voters in Rockingham’s 32nd district to vote for Democrat Maureen Mann because she helped get a traffic light installed. Seriously. The author of the letter claims to be a Republican but votes for Mann when she runs because she “can do the work that needs to get done regardless of party.”
There is a special election coming up on May 19th for the New Hampshire House in the towns of Nottingham, Northwood, Deerfield and Candia. These towns combined make up Rockingham’s 32nd district which was previously won by a Republican who had to step down for employment reasons. Two candidates are running for the spot – Maureen Mann as the Democrat and newcomer Yvonne Dean-Bailey as the Republican.

Democrat Rep uses the blood of dead children to argue against Constitutional Carry
On Thursday the New Hampshire House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee voted on SB 116 also known as ‘Constitutional Carry’. The bill was passed by a vote of 10-6 and was recommended as ‘Ought to Pass’. The bill will now go to the full House for a vote by all representatives.
Conway Daily Sun doesn’t get the facts straight on Senate Bill 116
Yesterday Daymond Steer of the Conway Daily Sun wrote an article about the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee’s vote on SB 116 also known as ‘Constitutional Carry’. That vote happened today and the bill passed out of committee with the recommendation of ‘Ought to Pass’. Steer did his due diligence by interviewing both sides on the issue but he failed to do his research in a big way.
Exeter Pastor’s bizarre claim of keeping Church and state separated
A Pastor from Exeter complained today that she is sick of getting spam emails from the Rand Paul campaign. Obviously someone sold the campaign an email list and she and other Churches happen to be on it.
Her supposed complaint was in defense of keeping church and state separated; however, a quick look at her website proves this Pastor is absolutely full of it.
‘Moms Demand harpy’ is actually a Manchester Police Commissioner
Yesterday a reader alerted yours truly that a person testifying at the Constitutional Carry hearing last week was actually a Manchester Police Commissioner. If you recall, a previous article talked about the hearings and was rightfully titled “Constitutional Carry hearing was better than stand up comedy.” The discussion in the article focused on testimony by members representing Moms Demand Action.
