A Word From The Chairman Of New Hampshire’s Super Minority Party

Over on Facebook last week the Chairman of the New Hampshire Democrat party wished we had this law on the books.

British Election Overturned Because of "False Statements"

The Independent reports that former British immigration minister Phil Woolas "lost his seat as an MP today after an election court ruled that he knowingly made false statements about an opponent in May’s general election."

Bloomberg notes Woolas was guilty of "an illegal practice" by making statements "he had no reasonable grounds for believing were true and did not believe were true."

"It is the first time in 99 years that an election has been overturned as a result of a candidate making false statements. Woolas told reporters he is applying for a judicial review of the decision."

Why?  Mr. Buckley claims that if we had this law…

"Hardly a Republican would hold office in New Hampshire if we had this law here…"

There is a lesson to be learned here.  Don’t use facebook if you’ve been practicing substance abuse.  Check out what follows as Ray responds to someone who suggests that democrats are not angels.

(name redacted), with all due respect you were not here to see millions upon millions of non-stop attack ads paid by secret groups. Or to female state senators portrayed a ugly green witches who support rapists getting out of jail and hell bent on raising everyone’s taxes (despite NH being the lowest taxed per capita in the nation). It was an ugly, ugly year and people have a right to feel upset. And you should also keep in mind that Republicans in DC and in Concord refused to work on solutions for the past two years, they simply sat back and said NO. Democrats will roll up their sleeves and do the work required to move the state and country forward.

The substance he is abusing is his own talking points.  This is left wing, stock rhetoric and projection from the leader of the Granite State’s new minority party.  Or should I say, chairmen of the Super-minority party.
