If their duty, their honor, and their oaths will not bind them, let us not put into their hands our liberty and all our other great interests.” These are the powerful words of Gouverneur Morris, the “Penman of the Constitution” and author of its preamble. Morris did not mince words during the Philadelphia Convention of … Read more
And ideological ones as well. I would think that Lloyd Alter, a former architect, entrepreneur, and professor at Toronto Metropolitan University, would better grasp small and large numbers and how they interplay for setting Contexts. Yes, with a capital “C” as he, along with many other Eco-Socialists, continuously try to use “small number anecdotes” to … Read more
Just days before Christmas, we followed up on the 197 missing votes in Windham originally reported back in November. Observers from the Secretary of State’s Office had released a report on their experience but made no mention of the difference between the number of ballots and the number of votes. Tom Murray and Ken Eyring … Read more
This government “will swallow the liberties of the people, without giving them previous notice.” That’s one of many stark warnings Patrick Henry gave us in 1788. In a series of fiery speeches during the Virginia Ratifying Convention, he laid out some of the most powerful anti-Federalist arguments against the Constitution. He predicted all kinds of abuses … Read more
The Bow School District (Bow) tried to get away with intimidating parents and denying them their constitutional rights, and the Concord Monitor (CM) attempted to provide air cover. Ann Marie Banfield visited this on Sunday. Bow thinks it can suppress the constitutional right to peaceful protest. The School District is in a court battle and … Read more
At this point, President Joe Biden — the absent president, the ghost president — could only salvage a snippet of his legacy if he awarded John Daly with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and decreed that henceforth, every summer will be “White Boy Summer.” Biden, instead, is handing out participation trophies for some of the … Read more
The silent crisis of the United Nations continues to move our nation into world government. Nevertheless, it is respected and protected by “deep state” control of government and the legacy media. Why is UN danger ignored? The UN is based on an ideology that the government is the grantor of human rights. It is the … Read more
Then it Became Condescending and Orwellian So “Bard” was one of the names for Google’s earlier Artificial Intelligence forays, and I decided, given what others were doing then, to “test” it a bit. From my perch and particular time in life, there has been this continuing growth of a fundamental absence, an essence that was practically universal during our Founding. More concerning is that this missing link has become ingrained within portions of our elected leaders. Specifically, what’s missing is a basic love of country, which entails the … Read more
This will be our 5th piece on a proposed NH House Rule Change (over just three days). The change, as explained to us, would allow committees to table any bill, meaning no public hearing. Contrary to what Rep. Dan McGuire writes, the proposed rule change to allow committees to table bills without a hearing is a transparent attempt to block the people’s voice. More insidiously, it can be used to shut down what leadership considers “extremist” positions within their own party. A 75% vote in committee to “table” a … Read more
There’s a lot of injustice in the world, and not all its victims have a voice. Enter New Hampshire State Representative Mike Bordes. He’s a ‘republican’ from the Lakes region who voted to allow abortions in the late months of pregnancy. He’s also anti-parental rights and blocked efforts to remove porn from public schools, which … Read more
On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, the full New Hampshire House will meet to discuss and vote on proposed changes to the House rules. One of those changes, an amendment to House rules 44-52, would be an undemocratic change to the current legislative process in New Hampshire by preventing the public from speaking and voicing their opinion on … Read more
Vermont voters screamed that affordability is the number one issue we want the legislature to address in 2025. While lawmakers have little control over what we pay for eggs and hamburger, what they do have control over – total control over at the state level — is what we pay in taxes, fees, and regulatory … Read more
