Such a media hound, this US Senator Chuckie Schumer

And acting like a Ruler that issues decrees instead of a Servant-Leader, too:

NEW YORK — Sen. Charles Schumer says retailers that sell assault weapons should stop offering them for purchase while Congress discusses gun regulation legislation.

Schumer on Sunday released a letter he sent to major retailers asking for a voluntary moratorium.

The New York Democrat says consumer demand for guns has gone up in the weeks since the December mass shooting in Newtown, Conn.

Schumer says Congress is debating the issue, and if measures get passed that limit these type of weapons, it won’t help if more of them have recently been sold.

Well, does that mean we, the Citizens, should stop using money, as you chuckheads in DC are “discussing” our $16 Trillion national debt ceiling (100% of our national GDP, btw, but you guys don’t seem to be counting) – which should alert you that we,  THE NATION, have no money to spend?

Here’s a couple of observations for ya, Chuckie (giving respect in proportion to that which is due to this idea):

New Website Promoting Gun Rights: SenatorFeinstein.com!

“The reason there are two senators for each state is so that one can be the designated driver.” —Jay Leno

I’m now promoting the second Amendment! You make Joke!

When thinking of Gun Control, Assault Weapons bans and other sordid nefarious stuff crafted by the charlatan left to take our guns away, “Senator Diane Feinstein” immediately comes to mind. Yes, make no mistake about it. I really intended that title.

As reported in the Daily Caller, Feinstein failed to register  her domain name, SenatorFeinstein.com. Consequently, Dimitrios Karras, CEO of the gun parts (not making this up) and accessories store Ares Armor, which will now run the site. Karas tells the Daily Caller he has also purchased Senator Boxer’s domain name as well!

Domain Name? Domain Name? We don’t need no steenking domain name!”

But here is the real irony. Feinstein hails from

Vicious Dogs

“Truth is a good dog; but always beware of barking too close to the heels of an error, lest you get your brains kicked out.”  —Francis Bacon

“Vicious” Little Dog “Jackson”

In New Hampshire if you are even slightly “nipped” by a dog, you can make a pile of cash! We are not talking about a Pit Bull Terrier or a Rottweiler or a German Shepherd Dog. Nope. We are talking about a 15-pound Jack Russell Terrier. It is of no consequence the injury was only minor….or, non-existent. If a nasty little ankle-biter dog breaks your personal space that is worth thousands of dollars.

It is of no consequence that you entered onto the

Idiots And Cowards Who Complain About Gun Ranges

“Once you’re able to look like an idiot and be OK with it, it opens up your potential.” —Nicole Sullivan

Irascible Cowards are idiots willing to  spew their opinion as if it means something, is always a great source of amusement to me. And sometimes they do so anonymously. Such is the case with this Silly_E-mail I received this morning.

Such e-mails are instructive in helping the reader observe the depths of ignorance to which some have succumbed, in spite of  any tone, word usage or voice which might suggest otherwise.

The e-mail received is errant on two levels: factually and conceptually.  An argument could be made this particular entry is a waste of time…a, “suffering of fools,” if you will. I do think its necessary because tom-foolery like this is reaching epidemic proportions.  And if conversations with idiots are the order, then we need to present at least one intelligent side.

The mystery e-mailer refers to my previous entry, Anatomy Of Gun Range Neighbors, and she states,

So the brouhaha all started over some years ago when Mittens strapped his dog Seamus’ kennel to the top of the family people transporter for a 12-hour drive. Okay…on the face of it, it seems not only bizarre, but a little tough to take. But being a hunter who makes uses of hunting dogs, I fail to see where this gets political feet. Yeah the animal rights crybabies are having a tough time with it….after all, talking animal movies, dogs with sunglasses and other such stupid nonsense has relegated us to a culture where animals are personified. How many of those idiotic paintings have we seen of dogs playing poker?  But seriously? How is this different from the traditional Hunting dog boxes?

More GSA Hackarama

“Experience has shown, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.”   —Thomas Jefferson

The most Corrupt Jeffrey Neely before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee

On April 3rd I detailed the happenings of the GSA and their corrupt spending practices in, GSA, Clowns, Mindreaders and Sushi. So, this morning at 5:50 AM I am watching Fox News and the narrative detailing a report on Jeffrey Neely, the western regional commissioner for GSA.

Representative Elijah Cummings, (D) Maryland made references to internal documents indicating that Jeff Neely was gleefully spending taxpayer funds like crowned royals. Neely and his wife  were enjoying living large off of the taxpayers and were giddy about it.

Bill Maher: A Cultural Icon…Not!

“An effeminate education weakens both the mind and the body.”  —Edgar Quinet

Chief Lefty Kool-Aid Drinker

So How about that Bill Maher? He calls Governor Sarah Palin a “c*nt and gets a pass on it from the Hollywood elite, so say my fellow conservatives. Me? not so much. My impression of Bill Maher is that he the type of male species, folks from all walks of life find distasteful and elect not to give Maher’s rants too much face time, letting him stand as the elitist pandering retard he truly is.  Is it any great surprise that he would equivocate in comparisons to Rush Limbaugh’s recent analysis on Sandra Fluke?

Leftists Say (Write) The Darnedest Things!

“We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” —Benjamin Franklin
On The Project Veritas Voter Fraud Project: Being curious, I went over to UnionLeader.com to see what the leftists had to say. One aspect about Leftists weighing in on a UL story is that they cannot help themselves. Sure enough, they didn’t disappoint!  There is the much-predicted name-calling, personal assaults on the character of others who post, deflection, and rank condescension.

SO I thought I might do this fun little exercise where a few of the comments are showcased. Here is what I found:

The Shrill Kathy on Political Weirdness

” The wise are instructed by reason, average minds by experience, the stupid by necessity and the brute by instinct.” —Marcus Tullius Cicero

The Union Leader has given Ink to the Shrill Kathy Sullivan for yet another inane senseless rant.

Kathy SullivanI told my friend Steve Vaillancourt it might be a New Year’s Resolution to simply ignore her. But in ignoring her, I think a final analysis is in order.

For all of the useless Pablum The Shrill Kathy has written, she is never lost on attacking anybody with a “R” attached to their name. The Shrill Kathy never criticizes the asinine or silly policies of her liberal friends. The Shrill Kathy never details anything positive coming from the Democratic Party as a juxtaposition to conservatives or Republicans.

The Shrill Kathy quips,

I also hope that 2012 is a year in which common sense, and not ideology, return to center stage, both in New Hampshire and the country as a whole. That is the only statement arguing for common sense in the whole rant.

Yay for Gridlock! The word “compromise” is not bad, but “compromising principles” is a bad phrase. Throw in “social contract” and there’s a big problem.

Social Contract:

an actual or hypothetical agreement among the members of an organized society or between a community and its ruler that defines and limits the rights and duties of each

I have been noodling on the phrase “social contract” for quite some time ever since Elizabeth Warren had her misbegotten rant denigrating capitalism and entrepreneurship and defending taxation as “part of the social contract”.  The problem is, who really knows what the “social contract” really is?  Let’s narrow it down further – what is it now, what did it use to be, and what should it be in the future?

And who put this contract up for debate, and how come I’m held to it even as others change the rules?  What – no choice for an opt out?  And why do the Libs

Sort of rhetorical questions, but Warren’s assertion is that “the social contract” allows and demands for all she believes is right, but also holds what the entrepreneur believes is wrong.  Thus, it seems,  it is a one way agreement: a liberal can claim that it provides for all kinds of social programs (and in effect, pushing that government programs are now necessary for it to be complete, and the wealth extraction from one set of citizens that is necessary to accomplish it).  Yet, when a Conservative begins to talk about “the social contract”, they are hooted from the room and there is no discussion that, like Government, the reach of “the social contract” is ever being extended (or over extended)?  I used to think that it included (in no particular order) following the laws, paying your taxes,  being nice to your neighbors, pay your taxes, be helpful to your community if led to be so (or, at least cause no harm), and that government would excel in what it should do and be frugal (e.g., don’t waste my money).  Oh yeah, and leave me alone to make my own decisions instead of telling me what to do all the time (after all, I’m an adult).  But remember, to a Liberal, it IS a one way agreement.

Problem is, my sense is now, the social contract is now quantity over quality, the American propensity to throw money at any problem has gone on steroids, and that any attempt to hold those programs accountable for results actually results in jeers thrown to the like of “what, you hate the poor, blacks, gays, browns, Latinos, or <name your least favorite Democrat identity group here>?  Shame on you, you cold hearted, uncaring Neanderthal!  YOU are stopping us from Progressing forward!”.  In essence, they are using the social contract not as an agreement but as a club – with a nail in it that sticks out.  And Lord help a Conservative involved in the Legislative process trying to hold to what we thought was the social contract when trying to keep Govt small enough to fulfill our version of “the social contract” – after all, we believe that people can fulfill such a “contract” and does not require an activist, intrusive Govt.

Oh, that compromise word? That brings me to the next point – when a Republican gives the Dems a loophole – and NH GOP Treasurer Robert Scott seemingly has done just that.  From the UL’s State House Dome:

CRYBABIES

“My door is always open-bring me your problems.” This is guaranteed to turn on every whiner, lackey and neurotic on the property.”
—Robert F. Six

It’s rarely ever a good idea to solely devote any kind of a blog entry to a person who has responded to an entry written, where that respondent or his or her comment is the central thesis. What the old adage? “Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people…” I  like to follow that concept, but it gets exceedingly hard in the sphere of religion and politics. After all, ideas and events do not simply osmose into the realm of virtual communication, but are brought forth by people.

So we go about the business of writing our rants, posting our blogs in fact, often times intentionally being irksome about it. And we often post sometimes very serious ideas, we are challenged, condemned, called into question and disagreed with. That is the nature of this beast.

Grocery Stores And Courtesy…NOT!

“Anyone who believes the competitive spirit in America is dead has never been in a supermarket when the cashier opens another checkout line.” —Ann Landers

"Let me call my Manager while I pretend to care about your damned problem"
"Let me call my Manager while I pretend to care about your damned problem"

Your Turn, NH, a weekly New Hampshire Union Leader feature, gave ink to young Natasha Cole of Hudson, a U-Mass Lowell Student and cashier to speak out to the diseased and afflicted unwashed masses. Cole asks customers to, “Have some courtesy for your cashiers this holiday season,” and not to spew her with your collection of germs and bodily juices while shopping at the local grocery store. The points made by Cole are valid. No dispute there. I know nobody who desires to get sick over the holiday season, much less anytime.

I, as a consumer, being forced to use such establishments, am not lost on Cole’s underlying sentiments.  In fact, those very establishments that Natasha speaks of have overtly acknowledged the need for such disease consciousness with the installation of sanitary wipe dispensers at the grocery store point of entry. Customers are able to wipe down the shopping cart handle. Waterless hand sanitizer is also often present. But while the topic of exposure minimization would appear to be the thesis, the underpinning thesis  her topic is couched in, is courtesy.  Grocery stores! absolute fodder for social scientists and cultural commentators like me, so I would be remiss pass up such an opportunity to address…even expand the concept of grocery store courtesy.

The Shrill Kathy And The Birthers

“We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” —Benjamin Franklin

Shrill_Kathy_Chronicals_Grok.jpg

Kathy Sullivan is not only dishonest, but she is also a rank charlatan. The Shrill Kathy is the epitome of moral bankruptcy when it comes to New Hampshire politics.  In the UL today she quips, Why does Speaker O’Brien not call out his birthers? placing responsibility for the less than savory behavior of a few legislators squarely on his shoulders. So, let’s be clear about this because whatever “this” is, amounts to nothing more than  another wanton pedestrian rant of the Shrill Kathy.

In prior writings, The Shrill Kathy calls out O’Brien alleging that he fails to respect the process and ignores long-standing rules. Yet here we see a circumstance where Orly Taitz asked for access and redress (due process) that our rules mandate must be provided.  And the Shrill Kathy takes O’Brien to task for not stifling that process. Make up your mind! Sulli-Shrill… Which is it? O’Brien squelches? or O’Brien observes?

DCCC Annual “Ruin Thanksgiving” Cheat Sheet

Every Thanksgiving we can now expect the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) to do to your holiday what it has done to everything else it touches–ruin it. This year is no different.  They have once again equipped your obnoxious left-leaning relatives and friends with their very own palm-card.

The DCCC ‘cheat sheet,’ is a recurring feature (not unlike Irritated Bowel Syndrome) whose name the Free Republic correctly identified in 2009 as eponymous to the Party that produces it.  2012 is no exception.  This years Cheat is filled with cherry picked, out of context, tin-foil hat foolishness, spun and slanted as it strives to fulfill the maxim, the bigger the lie the more likely it is toTurkey be believed.  (If Yves Goyut was alive we could add these to his collection of Socialist Fallacies.)

Unfortunately for the progressives we are no longer forced to listen to their media narratives and the Cheat sheet only serves to clarify who not to invite to next years feast.

So without further ado, here it is. The Annual DCCC Turkey.

Wait!  Same warning as last year.  Make sure you are not drinking anything while you read it.  You may start laughing and we don’t want to detour any beverages through your nasal cavities.  Eggnog comes to mind.  Not pretty.  Kind of like the 2012 DCCC Cheat Sheet.

By the way, the cheat sheet starts with some Democrat Majority ‘accomplishments" none of which include producing a budget (which Democrats have continued to obstruct for over three years now).

Inebriated William Jasmin Who Fell Out Of A Tree Stand Drops His Lawsuit

“A lawsuit is a fruit tree planted in a lawyer’s garden.” —Italian Proverb

pickpocket.jpg

William Jasmin of Manchester, the drunk, non-licensed hunter who sued a landowner following his own demise in falling from a tree stand, has dropped his lawsuit.

Jasmin suffered partial paralysis when the tree stand he attempted to enter failed, causing him to fall. Jasmin initially proffered in his original pleadings that he was “hunting” but in August amended his pleadings to assert that he was, “scouting.” while present on the land owned by Charlie Corliss, of Epsom,

Jasmin friend Randy Howe had said Corliss had given them permission to use the tree stand, however,  Jasmin’s lawyer now asserts the friend had spoke to someone else who mistakenly believed it was on his property.

This very case stirred concerns and tensions within the hunting community that farmers, foresters and other large landowners might potentially close their property to hunting and other recreational uses, for fear they could be potentially held liable for recreational injuries.

Jasmin’s lawyer B.J. Branch, told The Associated Press, “this suit was never about access to land; The suit was about holding the owner of a defective product accountable.” Baloney! This suit was about William Jasmin finding the deepest possible pockets to compensate him for his own failures to act responsibly, ethically and within the laws of this state. And, while doing this, he was willing and ready to throw the entire hunting community under the bus. Eighty percent of all available hunting land is private property in New Hampshire. Clearly, this lawsuit became about access.

Prepare For The Barakaclypse

Every one of these was or is a left wing campaign to make leftist dogma look like centrist mantra. They exist to streamline progressive/socialsit thought into mainstream thinking. But they failed and so the latter iterations have become more destructive. Each “movement” has gotten progressively more unruly, progressively more violent.

#OccupyRapSheet (So Far)

Direct from John Nolte at Big Government, we have a list things that the left wing and Democrats support and we can only assume emulate.
