So Dan, what say you when Government Teachers openly say they will indoctrinate their students against American Society?

Schoolhouseand declare War on American Society as it now stands? And Hunter Dan (aka IWKAGGP aka Dan William, a Govt school music teacher) decided to leave the same comment on my Head Start post and on Steve’s The Left’s War on Education:

So I guess four weeks is the right span of time for the Grok’s 24/7 defense of the 2nd amendment. Now that Lanza’s massacre of our most precious commodity – our children – is past us, it’s time to restart our all-out assault on the nation’s great equalizer.

Right – Head Start has proven to be a failure of an educational program, but with $180 Billion spent since its inception, it has probably turned out to be a GREAT patronage employment scheme.  Steve catches the Left in its own detrius – if it was REALLY for the children, teachers would be all over anything and receptive of anything that actually yielded better educational results for the children (regardless of it being private or public organization, regardless of who does the teaching (union or not), regardless of who owns the building, et al).  Instead, any attempt in searching out better methods than the status quo are quickly demonized.  It’s as if the Teachers Unions believe that they are absolutely entitled to all the K-12 education money (and Hunter Dan’s comments enforce this).  So Dan, in defending the status quo model, must absolutely believe in the Occupy Oakland Teachers (and their demi-God and Obama’s BFF and former SDS / Weatherman / killer / American Society hater, “educator” Bill Ayers (emphasis mine, reformmated):

At least the teachers of Occupy Oakland are finally being honest about their political agenda.  They’re openly calling for an all-out abolition of capitalism.

The Occupy Oakland Education Committee – comprised of public school teachers from the Oakland, California school district – has renamed its publication “ClassRoom Struggle” and its platform TEACH, which stands for “Transform Education, Abolish Capitalism and Heal.”

Finally the radical teachers have acknowledged what we’ve been saying all along: they want to end capitalism and replace it with a socialist economy, quite possibly enforced by a totalitarian form of government.

An End To Presidential Term Limits?

Obstinate continuance in a particular course of action despite ongoing and continued opposition encapsulates the very definition of Persistence. Such is the case of  Representative Jose Enrique Serrano, a DemocRAT , representing New York’s 15th South Bronx District.

As Fox News Reports, Serrano proposes the constitutional amendment ending presidential term limits. The resolution dates back 15 years Serrano  bringing it forth with each foray into public life.

A tale of Opportunity – it isn’t where you think it is.

Isn’t a socialized society just grand!  I bet his son will have have a lovely career where everything is free (after, ahem, large chunks of your wages for taxes).

In recognition of his obvious pride, I said, “How wonderful. You have every right to be proud. Is he going to practice in Wellington?” He replied, “Oh no, he’s going to Australia. You can’t make any money here.” The New Zealand economic crisis hit about two years later. New Zealand could not compete in world markets – and could no longer afford socialism.

Wolverinity !!!!

One of my favorite movies is “Red Dawn”, a movie from the 1980 starring the late Patrick Swyze (er, a fairly young one) had a plot of what a group of High School kids would do when the US was invaded and their parents killed. Sure, a bit hokey, but it showed a love of family and friends, and certainly a love of country. The “redo” is now out – I do need to go see it.  Anyways, a blog I go to once in a while, The Daily Brief, combined that with what a lot of Conservatives and traditionalists are thinking about the country’s political situation (emphasis mine):

And besides … as it turns out, maybe the dedicated socialists didn’t have to militarily invade at all. They’re already here, and plenty of them, ready to set aside the Constitution, to govern by decree and by thousands and thousands of dictates and rules touching upon everything from what kind of light bulbs we may buy, to what kind of healthcare we might have, what we pack in the kid’s school lunch and a thousand other matters large and small. And all of it decreed by the best and brightest for the very, very best of reasons and our own good, of course. Just call them the new Ruling Class. Some are political, some are academics or in business, or even entertainment – but all wish to cement their place at the apex of authority as quasi-aristocrats.

Obama’s move to a more Socialistic state – a warning from someone who grew up in a socialist state

A refugee from socialistic Hungary during the Cold War, Thomas Peterffy knew not just the economic ills of such a system but the moral decay of the human spirit of such a system.  This is the system that Obama and the other Democrat Socialists of America wish to put upon this nation.  Equality is one thing – under the law as the Founders believed true Freedom must have.  But they are looking to have a forced material equality, a forced “opportunity” equality, which forces the State to not promote equality for some but rather, establishes a faux equality by removing that very same freedom from “those that do not deserve it” or from those “that are fortunate” or those “that have more”.  In short, taking from those that have actually used the opportunity that America (til now) has afforded to everyone.
