The NHDP Presents…The Voting Dead

The New Hampshire Democrat Party and democrat legislators everywhere, in association with Granite State progress,  Granite State Fair Tax Coalition, the UCC, NHCC, and every other so-called by-partisan-but-in-reality-left-wing-front-group pretending there are no problems with vote fraud in New Hampshire, present a new made for fraud miniseries….The Voting Dead.  Watch for it…at every future election in … Read more

To all NH Taxpayer Activists – A message from Ed Naile

From Ed Naile: To all NH Taxpayer Activists: The Drudge Report has a story today about James O’Keefe and his Project Veritas investigative journalists asking for NH Open Primary ballots as though they were registered voters in New Hampshire.  The Project Veritas journalists posed as voters using the names of deceased NH residents of the … Read more

New Hampshire Dead People (NHDP)

Rather than risk losing thousands of votes in college towns all over the state–votes cast by propagandized out of state residents to keep tax and spend democrats in office–standard left wing rhetoric has always demanded that any evidence of holes in the voting process be met with screaming at the sky, attacking opponents, crying about … Read more

New Hampshire Advantage Strikes Again

“New Hampshire is a very cost-effective opportunity for us to build out and grow the company,” he said. “Definitely that facility, NH Advantage - Freedom, low taxes, low crime, low poverty, high quality of life, high average income, and more.staying in the area where we’re at, provided the most business advantages for us and that growth.”

-Enterasys President and CEO Chris Crowell in the Union Leader.

Enterasys is moving 540 jobs to Salem New Hampshire from Massachusetts and adding about 80 more as part of the move.  They want to stay in New England, and New Hampshire offers them the best growth opportunity to do that.   Hell yeah, it does.

Not So Secret Fact about Voter ID – We Don’t Need Democrats To Pass It

I see dead people- stealing votes in New HampshireThe only reason we do not have a voter ID law in New Hampshire is because Republicans didn’t vote to override a veto.  We don’t need Lynch to like the bill.  We don’t need one single Democrat in the entire legislature to like it either.  We just need a few more GOP House members to like it and to vote to override any new veto.

So while the Democrats (and RINO’s)  help us keep this in the news with talk about pressing charges, dust off HB356-FN (it is waiting in the Election Law Committee) and get it to the House floor.

NH has Voter Fraud? – Hey, How About We Arrest The Messengers?

Voer fraud in New Hampshire - The dead have risen to vote in the NH primaryThe Project Veritas punking of the gaping holes in New Hampshire’s voting process is priceless.   If you missed it, they used the names of dead people to get ballots in this weeks First in the nation NH primary and posted the video of that on-line.  It demonstrated that vote stealing is not just possible, it is as easy as many of us have claimed for years, and happened just months after Governor Lynch vetoed a voter ID measure in which he claimed…

There is no voter fraud problem in New Hampshire.  We already have strong elections laws that are effective in regulating our elections.

Welcome To New Hampshire…Now Go Home

As New Hampshire plays it’s traditional “First In The Nation Primary” role for the  next few days, I am reminded of two things.  First, as the Live Free or Die state, no matter who ends up as either the GOP nominee or the next president, we’ll still have to act like the sovereign Republic that we are and repel the borders from progressives and big government, both inside and out, for years to come.   Second, there is what has to be my favorite New Hampshire bumper sticker; “Welcome to New Hampshire, Now Go home.” To which I would add,” unless you’d like to just move here.”

There are conditions for moving here, of course.  We consistently have some of the lowest poverty, lowest crime, and the best standard of living for a reason.  And as people speculate about our reasonably low unemployment as well, let me point out that these things are all related.   It is the secret ingredient.  It is what makes all the great things about New Hampshire possible.  The answer;  reduce the incentive for bad behavior.

If you don’t pay people a livable wage to remain unemployed, for some strange reason progressives cannot grasp, those people go find a job.  And believe it or not, this works everywhere it is tried.

On Tuesday, we must Unite or Die. Think about it.

UNITE OR DIE. Our choice. The GOP primary election is in four days. We unite behind one conservative candidate or lose when non-conservative Romney takes it. This from Jeff Kuhner at The Washington Times: “The White House is popping champagne corks. President Obama got what he wanted from the Iowa caucus: a fractured Republican Party … Read more

How Fast Can A Rifle Go From Unloded…

…to loaded?  Pretty damn fast, apparently.Gun free zones - where citizens try to run faster than law breakers can load a weapon

Two New Hampshire State Police troopers demonstrated how quickly a semiautomatic rifle can go from unloaded to loaded under a new definition in a bill up for a House vote this week. – (Union leader, Wed 1-4-12)

So with no one else lawfully armed–a policy the police, Governor Lynch, and the university folks both advertise proudly and insist they will defend–the only thing left to stop the rapid loading, unloading, and reloading of a “semiautomatic rifle” in a gun free zone would be what we call…victims. (Or running out of ammo.)

But don’t Democrats love “victims?”

Without victims they have no platform.

A NH Boot to Big Brother’s Neck – HB 445-FN

Police want to use GPS and RF to spy on you without a warrantIf you watch television you’ve probably seen your share of cop or crime shows.  There are two things that always stand out to me.  First, almost everyone talks to the cops without a lawyer. (Dumb.)  Second, the police are always using a suspect’s cell phone or car GPS to track them down.

The real America is not much different.   It is a land where the police can set up a road block just about anywhere, for any reason, (sobriety checkpoints for example) and proceed to justify stopping, questioning, or searching any or every vehicle or its occupants based on their “on the spot judgment.”  With most of America embracing–or at least not objecting–to that kind of arbitrary fourth amendment abuse, why not extend it to electronic surveillance as well?

Look Whose Shooting Now

Guns, not the cuse of more homicides in NH unless you count police pistolsHow will the left spin the news about the increase in New Hampshire homicides in 2011?  The Union Leader reports the number at 23, an increases of five over 2010.

Will the Democrats try to make a case for gun control based on the report?

Will the New Hampshire Police chiefs, many of whom work so hard to try and infringe second amended rights, spin the generic details to aid their cause?  (When you make people wait for a police officer to show up to defend them from criminals who have already committed their crimes, you will always need more manpower to canvass more crime scenes.  Doesn’t a chief with more employees get a higher salary? )

#Occupy New Hampshire Update 12-29-11

Democrat Party support of the occupy movement has inspired yet another local citizen to redistribute the wealth.  While standing in line at the Burger King in the Steeplegate Mall Food Court, an unknown man decided to ‘have it his way’ and redistributed a pair of $180.00 Oakley Sunglasses from atop the undeserving head of some … Read more

Shaheen’s “No-Bid” Contract?

On more than one occasion I have pointed out (correctly) that Democrats elected to Federal office are nothing more than the Democrat parties ‘regional governors.’  They are representatives from the central government to New Hampshire, taking orders from DC’s progressive leadership.  Their goal is to ensure that funding streams into the nations capital, then back … Read more

Rep Leishman Lawsuit Tossed; Pan Am gets Revenge?

Railroad Track - Pan Am and Milford Bennington sparing match continuesDid Pan Am Railway just get some major payback on an ethics challenged State Rep who owns a competing Railroad company?

The Nashua Telegraph is reporting that Rep. Peter Leishman (D – Milford-Bennington Railway), recently re-elected to the NH House, just had his lawsuit thrown out by Judge Paul Barbadoro of the U.S. District Court in Concord.  Leishman was suing Pan Am Railways for allegedly violating a contract by refusing to let him operate on their track.  But apparently Pan Am can block Milford-Bennington from using their track and no amount of fussing by Rep Leishman will be able to change that.   The judge noted that he did not condone Pan Am’s conduct in barring Milford-Bennington but there was no legal reason to allow Leishman’s lawsuit against them to proceed.

Pan Am has to be excited about the ruling.  Keeping Milford-Bennington off their track sounds a lot like payback to me.  Payback for what you ask?

Add A Half-Mil to Norelli’s Debt Tab

RGGI deficit spending by NH democrats leaves us another 600K in the holeNew Hampshire Watchdog is reporting that up through 2010 the Democrat controlled New Hampshire State government overspent RGGI revenues to the tune of about $600,000.00 dollars.   They just assumed we’d have more revenue.  Hmmm..where have we seen that before?   SO much like their regular budgeting they spent (more)  money we didn’t have, leaving someone else with the hard work of fixing things.

NH Watchdog’s Grant Bosse reminds us of the RGGI tab, the sad state of the Cap and Trade scheme,  as well as the Democrats taking 3.1 million dollars out of that scheme to (cough-cough) ‘Balance’ the State budget.

So Teri ‘ Billion Dollar Deficit’ Norelli strikes again.

Making ‘Cents’ To Democrats

Getting Pennies while we can - sunsetting the cigarette taxRep Ken Wyler, R-Kingston NH, took the Portsmouth Herald to task, in Fosters Daily Democrat, (Fosters.com) for its recent editorial on the cigarette tax decrease.  The Herald would like us to continue raising tobacco taxes every year, just like when the Democrats were in power, essentially pimping the Democrat party argument that we need the revenue, and that the tax decrease was pointless.

I’ve been arguing for a much larger decrease of the cigarette tax than the Republican House settled on for years.  It seemed obvious to me.    We make a hell of a lot more on Rooms and Meals taxes and that revenue is shared with towns–(ironic considering how Democrats pilfered that tax for reasons that will become obvious in a moment.)    Increased commerce overall is a benefit to the business community, profits, employment, wages, and the business tax revenue that grows as a result.  Cigarettes are a draw, even as sales drop.  Why don’t Democrats see it?

Donkey Cookie Cutter

Portsmouth Democrat Matthew Hancock announced this week that he has added his name to the list of primary pimping Progressives wishing to mount a challenge to the GOP held first congressional district seat in New Hampshire.   But after reading Matt’s press release I’m not quite sure what he brings to the table that is any different than the left wing clone-troopers already running?

Governor Jon Huntsman Snubs Windham NH [Updated]

Southern NH 9-12 Snubbed by jon HuntsmanSouthern New Hampshire 9.12 announced today that the forum for a Lincoln-Douglass style debate between Governor Jon Huntsman and former Speaker Newt Gingrich has had its venue changed without their knowledge or permission.   The debate was scheduled for December 12th, at 7 pm, at Windham High School.

From what I can tell it appears as if the Huntsman campaign arranged the event at St. Anselms College without including the Windham organizers in the process. Speaker Gingrich has said he will attend that debate but is still planning to appear in Winhdam where hundreds of people have already reserved seats for the event, far more than the facility in Manchester.

In their official Press release Representative David bates and Ken Eyring, the debate organizers and two of the founders of Southern NH 9.12 said…
