Shaheen’s “No-Bid” Contract?

Jeanne Shaheen tied to no bid contract?

On more than one occasion I have pointed out (correctly) that Democrats elected to Federal office are nothing more than the Democrat parties ‘regional governors.’  They are representatives from the central government to New Hampshire, taking orders from DC’s progressive leadership.  Their goal is to ensure that funding streams into the nations capital, then back to the states.  This allows them to feign largesse, control who benefits, reap rewards when they need campaign donations, and ties all the necessary strings so central planners are not usurped by local upstarts with the gall to think it’s actually their money.

These are the members of the “but we need to get our federal tax dollars back” crowd.   Instead of working to keep more money from leaving the state by reducing federal taxes or obligations, they support or increase these takings to validate their own existence.  “I’m working hard to get grants and funding for (insert name here.)”  Proof of their value as legislators.  Lord knows what the residents might spend the governments money on if ‘we’ didn’t first filter it through some draconian bureaucracy peopled with white tower “experts.

Such is the person of Senator Jeanne Shaheen, who not only usurped the will of the people’s elected representatives (when she got HHS to fund Planned Parenthood after the New Hampshire Executive Council voted not to do so), but may have facilitated what amounts to a no-bid contract in violation of state and federal law, just so she could appear the “hero” to her backers in the baby killing lobby.
