The media does this thing where they get some intern to scour your internet history for two words placed in the wrong order. Proof you are a [bigot, racist, xenophobe, etc.] which then becomes breaking news. The media can now expect similar treatment.
Last night Skip observed that the progressive mouthpiece for the Democrat blogosphere in New Hampshire (Bleu Hampshire) had been awfully quiet given all the newsy tid-bits peppering the interwebs. Nothing to report on Benghazi, The IRS, HHS, DOJ seizing AP phone records, dead Americans, failed Middle East policy…nothing.
But there is good news. Blue Hamster has leave to react to at least one of the recent scandals…
The Soros funded, highly political (non-profit) Media Matters, has release instructions on how the Democrats should respond with regard to the Obama-DOJ seizing two months worth of phone records from the AP. (I have included them on the jump so that you wont have to be bothered with visiting their site to find out what they have been told to think.)
Following my post on David Friend and Carbonite’s likley ties to Media Matters and the lefts AstroTurf factory, I received this comment from Mark in California,
Great article. I just tried to cancel my service to Carbonite and when I told them it was due to the advertising pull on Limbaugh, they said, “too late, your service has been restarted. If you had told me it was due to a technical error or problem with Carbonite I could cancel your service and offer a refund.” I asked for a Manager and some guy named Jim got on and played the corporate policy line on me. When I asked who his boss was he told me David Friend.
I cancelled the service back on the 7th of March knowing my subscription was set to run out on 3/18. Carbonite claims our e chat was not a sufficient request for cancelling service. However after telling me a technical problem would be sufficient, you tend to think this is political more than anything else. I hope their stock slide continues. Thanks for posting the alternative companies to this sham organization.

Carbonite sounds desperate, clinging to their subscribers by all means possible. Even if it means being as dishonest to their customers as David Friend seems to have been about pulling his advertising off Rush Limbaugh’s radio program. But there is a lesson learned here.
Why did David Friend really pull his companies advertising from the Rush Limbaugh program? We are meant to believe that it was because of what Limbaugh said about Sandra Fluke. That the words ‘slut’ and ‘prostitute’ were discussion terms he was not interested in associating with himself or his company. But this is coming from a man who gives his own cash-money to groups like MoveOn.org, and a host of Democrat candidates. People who denigrate women on an almost daily basis. He wasn’t outraged at all, and as it turns out, was merely ‘activated’ like some suicidal sleeper agent.
Recent reports have revealed that the entire ‘advertiser outrage’ was planned and orchestrated by Media Matters. Carbonite yanking it’s advertising was just part of the show.
Update and Bumped: Well, I just saw over at Michelle Malkin’s place that Capital One has pulled their ads. Well, I have just “pulled (re: cancelled) my credit card with them. And TMEW will be doing the same later on today. My message to the polite young lady (who said she’s been getting MORE than a few calls similar to mine) is: “put the ads back, and I’ll come back. Not until – pass that upward to the Chuckleheads upstairs”.)

Just as it isn’t about getting free contraceptives – it’s about standing up for the Constitution. Slutgate is the excuse for the Left’s faux outrage to pummel a single person – but that is the distraction the Left wants you to believe. It is not about civility – the Left has spewed far more vile at far more women on the Right over far more years. Why? And we see them, via Media Matters (funded by George Soros) and Van Jone’s Color of Change working behind the scenes, trying to achieve the real goal – seeing their political opportunity to silence Rush Limbaugh. Thus far, they (the tip of the spear of the Left, to give them their due) have convinced 22 advertisers to leave Rush Limbaugh. They have orchestrated a massive turnout of emails and calls to those companies to “leave Rush, or we leave you”: 400,00 have signed a petition to get Rush yanked.
