Last September, we reported on a class action lawsuit filed by a handful of Democrat-run warzones (doing business as cities) that blamed rising car thefts on automakers whose vehicles are easier to steal. Isn’t that like saying it’s okay to punch someone because they look like they won’t punch back?

Presumption of Guilt – Another Reason to Oppose The Left
Differing on matters of policy is one thing but the New Left’s presumption of guilt, at least as it applies to presumed political opponents, is despotic. It must be opposed as should be any member of the Democrat Party who condones it.

As Ms. Hill and Sen. Hirono aver, the Democratic standard for sexual-assault allegations is that they should be accepted as true merely for having been made. The accuser is assumed to be telling the truth because the accuser is a woman. The burden is on Mr. Kavanaugh to prove his innocence. If he cannot do so, then he is unfit to serve on the Court.

Doug Lambert’s column pointed out the differences between those coming here to be Americans and share our responsibilities and those here only to work and benefit from our prosperity. Ms. Morrissette amplified that, only to be taken to task by both Mr. Babcock and Mr. Cracraft. And, both of them missed the nuances and essential points of the discussion.
