Political Correctness will be one of the leading causes of the death of Western Liberal Philosophy and the civilization on which it is built.  I read this and saw – for all of the West’s military might, a word might bring it down.  Why?

It seems that anyone, at any time, can accuse of offense.  Whether it makes sense or not, we seem to be devolving to where the decision of "offense" is no longer made by society but strictly by the minority – and in this case, a minority of one.   The purpose of identity politics is not to ensure that the rights of a minority are protected.  In effect, it is a tool with which to wage war by which the minority can hijack the rights of the majority. 

From Powerline: It sounds like parody, but this story from Spain is evidently true:

The parents of a Muslim boy who attends a secondary school in La Línea, Cádiz province, have reported their son’s teacher for an incident in the boy’s geography class which the child said caused him offence as a Muslim.

The teacher, José Reyes Fernández, with more than 20 years in the profession, was explaining to the class how the cold climate in Trevélez, Granada province, aided in the curing of the village’s most famous local product, jamón serrano. The boy told his teacher that hearing the word ‘ham’ in class was offensive to him because of his religion and asked his geography teacher to stop referring to the product which caused him offence.

El Mundo newspaper reports that the boy’s parents then reported the teacher to both the National Police and to the courts. They placed a denuncia against the teacher for psychological ill-treatment in the context of xenophobia and racism.

One assumes that the boy and his parents had help from the Spanish equivalent of CAIR in pushing his "xenophobia" complaint. It is a great illustration of the effort to create a little bubble of walking sharia around each Muslim that we also see in the U.S.

Islamofascism – a political system wrapped up in the trappings of religion.  The Left is always playing Chicken Little about a Christian fundamentalist theocracy taking hold and taking over here in America.  I’ve listened to this tommyrot for decades – it ain’t happened, it isn’t happening, and it won’t either.

Shariah Law, on the other hand?  Oh, we who bring that up are called Islamophobes, or religion haters, or just bigots (man, I just wish I had a trademark on that word….).  Yet, look at what happened with the Mohammed Cartoons a few years ago out of Denmark; those that drew them and those that published them were vilified.

Ask yourself – where was the US media on "free speech"?  AWOL, cowards – great defenders, these folks, when it only comes to flapping their gums.  Yet, when faced with an issue where real courage is concerned, free speech in the face of Islamic ire, they go limp and flaccid.  Yeah, you go guys.  They wouldn’t even print a cartoon that simply had the text "Where’s Muhammad" with no "blasphemic image" of Muhammed in it (Steve put it this version of a religious "Where’s Waldo?" up and I’m glad he did).

Whereas democracy is defined as the rule of the people, by the people, for the people, Islam is defined as the rule of Allah, by Allah and his emissaries, for the pleasure of Allah. And when people, out of concern for political correctness or ignorance, describe Islam as a religion of peace, they are, at the very least, guilty of misrepresenting it.

If only the masses of Muslims arise and carry out the orders of Allah, then we would have the promised paradise of Islam on earth as exemplified by such rules as that of the Taliban, Saudi Arabia, the Sudan, and of course the Shiite nirvana of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Islam is a comprehensive totalitarian form of slavery. It is the opposite of freedom. Its very name, Islam means submission or surrender. Let’s face it. Islam is like a deadly, contagious disease. Once it invades the mind of its victim, it is capable of transforming him to a helpless pawn that has no choice but to execute what he is directed to do. It’s true that the vast majority of the victims of Communism were people living in Communist states. Some 38 million Soviets were killed because of Communism. Tens of millions of Chinese citizens were killed because of Communism. That the victims of Communism were largely members of socialist societies says a great deal about the ideology itself.
 
It is also true with Islam. Muslims are the main victims of Islamic ideology. The political system of Islam, just like fascism and communism, is a dysfunctional ideology that needs to be abandoned. Islam’s charter Quran is the root cause of Islamic terrorism, just as Marxism was the root cause of international Communist totalitarianism.

Of the reported 1.2 billion Muslims in the world, millions are already trapped in the terminal stages of this affliction, while millions of others are rapidly joining them. The people enslaved with the extreme cases of Islamic mental disease are highly infectious. They actively work to transmit the disease to others, while they themselves engage in horrific acts of mayhem and violence to demonstrate their unconditional obedience to the dictates of the Islamic cult.

Almost everyone uses scapegoats. It is in our fabric. The word "scapegoat" has come to mean a person, often innocent, who is blamed and punished for the sins, crimes, or sufferings of others, generally as a way of distracting attention from the real causes. It is a potent human disposition to blame others for our failings.

The derivation of the term scapegoat also comes from the Old Testament-see Leviticus 16.  During the Jewish high holy day of Yom Kippur in the Temple era high priests would sacrifice a goat that would be consigned "for Azazel" and would carry with it the sins of the nation.

Without scapegoats to blame, we are forced to look at ourselves for our problems. Examining ourselves can be very disturbing, particularly when we either lack the resources or the willingness to tackle them. So, we take the good old easy way out of the mess by shifting our focus to the outside world for targets to blame.

Look at young kids. They are expert blamers. They always have an answer, someone or something to blame in self-defense. We, the chronological adults, don’t completely abandon our childish strategy of ascribing blame to external sources. We simply do so with a greater degree of sophistication by finding, if at all possible, a grain or two of truth to legitimize our attributions.

The most notorious person who used the Jews as scapegoat was the Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler. In his infamous book Mein Kampf (My Struggle) he blamed the plight of Germany at the end of World War I on an international Jewish conspiracy and used terms such as extirpation and extermination in relation to the Jews. Unfortunately, we have seen in recent years the emergence of a number of such assaults, indeed, conspiracy theories, targeting the Israel lobby and the American Jewish community. Over and over throughout history, this small group of human beings have been used as scapegoats for the problems of the world.

“In 1991, Mohamed Akram wrote a memo for the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood that explained its work in America as "a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions."

The Gospel writers have noted that Jesus called his disciples to a way of life in which any act of violence can be overcome by love. We must not return evil for evil, Jesus taught, but must return good for evil; we must not hate those who wrong us but must love our enemies and pray for those who hate us. The Qur’an never says this. Instead it explicitly declares that Allah does not love those who do not believe in him:

Although many Muslims become angry about anyone “insulting” their religion, but here is what the Qur’an says about Jews and Christians:

Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (9:30) (See also Bukhari 8:427), one of the last things Prophet Muhammad ever said on his deathbed was "May Allah curse the Jews and Christians.”)

Drawing a distinction from the Gospel writers are a few brushstrokes suggesting ubiquitous and intrinsic Islamic extremism and also let us keep in mind that the basic difference between Islam and Christianity is that only Islam has a tradition and doctrine that sanctions war against unbelievers:

“Allah, deal with the Jews, your enemies and the enemies of Islam. Deal with the crusaders, and America, and Europe behind them, O Lord of the worlds.” Ahmad Abu Halabiya

Hadith says that Muhammad believed rats to be "mutated Jews" (Bukhari 54:524, also confirmed by Sahih Muslim 7135 and 7136).

“To push the enemy – the greatest kufr – out of the country is a prime duty. No other duty after Belief is more important than [this] duty. Utmost effort should be made to prepare and instigate the Ummah [community of Muslims] against the enemy, the American-Israeli alliance – occupying the country of the two Holy Places.” Osama bin Laden

“Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers]? Islam says: Kill them, put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. …Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to paradise, which can be opened only for holy warriors.” Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini

Complacency and appeasement on the part of the free world can only serve Islamic hatred. There is absolutely no chance for co-existence with Islamic dogma. All one needs to see is what is happening in Islamic countries. That is exactly what is in store for free people of the world if Islam is not held in check.

My fellow human beings, reforming Islam is not about prosperity, it is about the survival of the human race, and the ability for all non-Islamic ideologies to survive. However, in the absence of evangelism, and without the ability to reveal peace-loving belief to the Muslim world, people just don’t wake up and suddenly denounce it. Does a seed grow in infertile soil?  The brave are the ones who enable personal conversion, not those who justify Islamic slavery by alluding to salvation in nations possessed by evil.

Our Western liberals who actively aid and support evil regimes are in fact “Useful Idiots”…
