I am resurrecting my QUICK TAKES feature which, for those not aware, is a hat trick of things I’d like to comment on, but don’t really see them developing into full-blown essays of their own right. As a sample, here are two (randomly selected) of my prior entries in this category:
Their watchwords, at least from our side, seem to be “You won’t own anything but you will be happy.” It’s “DavosSpeak” from elites who believe that because of their global status and wealth that they can do with or to us whatever they wish.
Yesterday Project Syndicate published a George Soros op-ed Vladimir Putin and the Risk of World War III. Within it Soros suggests it is Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin that are heading us all into a World War III.
