Will SB263 Require NH Schools to Allow Biological Boys to Compete in Girls Sports?

We’ve been warning New Hampshire about the Council on Diversity and Inclusion. One of its first issues was that NH is too white. It then went on to promote SB263, sold as a much-needed add-on to anti-discrimination “protections” in public schools. As in, end gender discrimination against boys who want to compete in girls’ sports?

Cornerstone Action Statement on Governor Chris Sununu’s Signing of Gender-Policy Legislation

The following statement may be attributed to Shannon McGinley, Cornerstone Action Executive Director.

Today, a Republican governor goes down in history as the man who signed the Bathroom Bill, endangering women and girls all across the state and giving unfair advantages to men posing as women in various competitive environments. Sadly, Gov. Chris Sununu’s decision to sign the Bathroom Bill will overshadow some of his otherwise constructive accomplishments and identify him as the man who allowed unwanted, socially harmful ideas into a law that directly opposes government’s constitutional role to serve the “general good.”

Gov. Sununu today has signed away every Granite Stater’s right to privacy in public accommodations. He has signed away protection for equity in school athletics and scholarships. He has bought into a lie that it is somehow bigotry to recognize a person’s natural biological sex, and instead instituted a new era of bigotry against people with common sense.

Paving the Way: Judges, Children, and Gender

gavelCould the state take a child away from a parent who does not want the child to receive cross-sex hormones and amputation of healthy body parts? An Ohio court has told us the answer: yes.

When transgender identity is treated as a non-elective medical procedure, that’s where the child welfare and legal systems inevitably lead.

GrokTV Event: Cornerstone Action presents Dr. Jennifer Morse on Traditional Marriage for NH Part 1 & 2

This past Monday night, Cornerstone Action held a lecture at St. Anselm College’s Institute of Politics that featured Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse of the Ruth Institute (“Making Marriage Cool”).  The title of her talk was “Making the case for Traditional Marriage for New Hampshire“.  A crowd of about 150 people filled just about every seat in the auditorium and she gave them their money’s worth with a long and idea filled discussion of the benefits to traditional marriage vs homosexual marriage.

This is Part 1 of her talk:

By the way, it seems that GLAAD thinks that she is a VERY dangerous person (among a bunch of other conservative / traditional marriage supporters) and is now trying to shut her down.

Part 2 is after the jump:

Obama’s “Real” War On Women

While Democrat women were busy standing with planned parenthood in the NH state house last week, asking us to trust them,  down in Texas a Federal Whistle-blower (who was also a woman), was getting help, preparing a lawsuit against Planned Parenthood in Texas–which has since been issued.

The lawsuit, filed by the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), on behalf of former Planned Parenthood clinic director, Abby Johnson, accused Planned Parenthood of submitting over 87,000 “false, fraudulent, or ineligible claims for Medicaid reimbursements” under Title XIX, in association with the Texas Women’s Health Program.

The Medicaid claims, filed between 2007 and 2009, were valued at more than $5.7 million. The lawsuit alleges that Planned Parenthood knowingly committed Medicaid fraud by “improperly seeking reimbursements from the Texas Women’s Health Program for products and services not reimbursable by that program.”

So Texas is cutting off Planned Parenthood.  And in response, the Obama Administration, in defense of a political ally, is waging war on Texas, and treating the very women they claim to be defending as acceptable casualties.

Where Is That Elusive Middle Ground?

Grassroots is at the root of all politics in New Hampshire these days (most days really) and in response to that the Sunday News has taken notice, publishing an article this morning by Shawne K. Whikham which highlights a handful of groups from around the state.

Binnie Busters

Adding a thought to what skip provided, and Drew Kline’s initial post on the Binnie Camp’s response to the Cornerstone Ad.  Binnie ‘did call a lawyer’ when he didn’t understand.  The lawyers did not understand either; that Cornerstone is a New Hampshire group founded by who, Karen Testerman?  Yeah, she’s that out of state girl…running for governor … Read more
