Obama’s “Real” War On Women

While Democrat women were busy standing with planned parenthood in the NH state house last week, asking us to trust them,  down in Texas a Federal Whistle-blower (who was also a woman), was getting help, preparing a lawsuit against Planned Parenthood in Texas–which has since been issued.

The lawsuit, filed by the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), on behalf of former Planned Parenthood clinic director, Abby Johnson, accused Planned Parenthood of submitting over 87,000 “false, fraudulent, or ineligible claims for Medicaid reimbursements” under Title XIX, in association with the Texas Women’s Health Program.

The Medicaid claims, filed between 2007 and 2009, were valued at more than $5.7 million. The lawsuit alleges that Planned Parenthood knowingly committed Medicaid fraud by “improperly seeking reimbursements from the Texas Women’s Health Program for products and services not reimbursable by that program.”

So Texas is cutting off Planned Parenthood.  And in response, the Obama Administration, in defense of a political ally, is waging war on Texas, and treating the very women they claim to be defending as acceptable casualties.

Planned Parenthood in Texas only provides a small percentage of services to a small percentage of Texas women.   They represent only 2% of providers in the state but cost 43% more. (And then there’s that whole lawsuit for milking state services thing, one of many problems with PP nationwide.)  So Texas is pulling the plug on what it views as a potentially corrupt, criminal, enterprise. (Komen for the Cure’s reasoning, by the way.)

In response to this, the Obama government is cutting Federal funding for clinics in Texas.  (That’ll show them!) But what it actually shows us is that Democrats are full of crap.  They are denying–literally–access to exams and contraceptives to real low-income women, the very same ones they claim to be interested in protecting, in direct opposition to their massive media assault on Republicans.  Not college age law-student props who can afford to take trips to Spain, but actual, low income, women–as a political punishment, just so they can defend a political ally.

The removal of funding by the Obama administration will now prevent roughly 130,000 low-income Texas women who do not qualify for Medicaid from receiving free exams and contraceptives.

The left wing chest pounding, wailing, and cries of injustice against women are just so much projection.  Democrats do not care about women,  (as if the way they treat Conservative women were not enough proof of that), and what better example of their hypocrisy do you need than this?

So those women who stand with Planned Parenthood, even the ones in New Hampshire who support and prop up despots like Obama,  they are not standing by women.  They are supporting a significant campaign donor and ideological ally, supporting that corrupt, no matter how inefficient, or corrupt they may appear to be.  And that, at least, makes some sense.  That just happens to be how they like their government.
