Remember that nut job with a disdain for carpenters that Senator Denise unseated in 2020? If you don’t, that’s ok because I’ll remind you now and she has a local opportunity to advance her struggle to stay relevant. It’s Jeanne Dietsch of Peterborough, founder of Granite State Matters, and there are a few details of interest worth calling attention to.
On the heels of the House enemy camp disrespecting Rep Jonah Wheeler during his recent mic time, library watchdog Mr Scaer has tweeted about an upcoming library event in the town that Jonah Wheeler serves. The League of Women Voters is hosting a “shut-up-and-listen event” at 6 pm on Tuesday, 3/25. Jeanne Dietsch is a constituent of Jonah Wheeler, and unless there’s a revised version saying otherwise, neither Jonah Wheeler nor the League of Women voters is on her famous LIST. Dietsch is also an author and has toured plenty of bookstores with speaking engagements, so she should feel right at home in a library, even if it’s not in her zip code, but this one is!
Jonah Wheeler has been called many unkind words, both recently and following a January 2024 House speech in which he dissented against his caucus (denouncing the mutilation of minors). My question is “will Dietsch join the list of people insulting him and will she add him to HER LIST of perceived ‘threats to democracy’?” If the answer to the latter is yes, then it’s another badge of honor for him and one that has eluded me.
Someone please ask Jeanne Dietsch if she is aware of the event and plans to attend.
