Abuse of Power
Our NH Constitution is the foundation of our republic, without it, we would have no state government. Part I of this fundamental document speaks not about the government, but of the rights reserved to the people which are not necessary to the operation of a government.
Black Lives Matter Nashua and Manchester Publish List of Demands
Black Lives Matter has released a list. No, not laundry or shopping, these are demands. Why? “Recent events have highlighted the reality that systemic racism and implicit bias play an active role in New Hampshire Politics.”
“Executive Councilor Could Benefit from Some Counseling”
In January 1938 Franklin Roosevelt nominated Stanley Forman Reed to fill an opening on the Supreme Court. Three weeks later, having generated no real dispute in the Senate, Reed’s nomination was uneventfully confirmed. Among the legacy Justice Reed accrued during nearly two decades on the bench, was his mentoring of legal protégé, and future Chief … Read more
“Glaring Double Standard for Republican Women”
THE GLARING double standard for Republican women is back again, this time in the form of New Hampshire Democrats’ demeaning response to New York Rep. Elise Stefanik’s endorsement of Matt Mowers in the First Congressional District Republican primary.

“Ours to Preserve”
They are trying their best to start a fight. We have Mayors, Governors, Senators, and House Members bowing their knees to these Criminals. I won’t. Unlawfully destroying PUBLIC PROPERTY is a felony! Targeting our Founders’, and particularly Military heroes’ monuments, is more than a dare.
Why transparency in Concord is critical now!
I needed to drop you a quick note to alert you to the crisis the impending New Hampshire legislature could create for Christians. Right now, our majority leaders in Concord are using the confusion of the COVID crisis to trample on all due process in their advancement of new bills.
After Brutal 2020, Tax Hikes Could Loom for N.H. Businesses in 2021
The House on Thursday rejected a Republican proposal to prevent significant business tax increases that are likely to hit on January 1. Unless legislators act between now and the end of the year, New Hampshire businesses that survive 2020 should prepare to begin paying higher tax rates in 2021.
New Poll Question: Was the Response to COVID-19 Justified or an Unnecessary Overreaction?
Here’s a poll question for the times. As we find ourselves waking up from the hangover of COVID-19 induced quarantine, was it worth it? Did we do some good or ruin our lives (the economy) for nothing?
Are Manchester, NH Schools a Bastion of Racism?
Over the past several weeks, there have been multiple articles I could have written about things happening at Manchester City Hall or on Hecker Street (HQ for the Manchester School District). Two Conversations are Going on About Race in America
Two conversations are going on about race in America. One side says they live in fear of being harassed or killed because of the way God made them. The second group, mostly conservative, respond with lectures, citing statistics, and posting memes (what a great way to engage in dialogue).
“I Used To Be A Normal Person”
As a man [or woman], I used to think I was pretty much just a regular person, but I was born white, into a two-parent household which now, whether I like it or not, makes me “Privileged”, a racist & responsible for slavery.
Mayor Joyce Craig’s Private Pool Club Immune from Coronavirus?
Earlier this week, Mayor Joyce Craig cast several tie-breaking votes to keep city pools, the Splash Pad, and playgrounds closed for at least another month due to public health concerns. City Health Department Director Anna Thomas insisted that the pandemic “is spreading like wildfire” throughout Manchester. But sources tell GraniteGrok that the city health department … Read more
Higher Tax, Less Rehiring
With the pandemic driven business shutdowns, New Hampshire is expecting enough of a drop in Business Enterprise Tax (BET) to trigger a tax rate increase under a law passed a few years ago. The BET is a tax on having employees.
