Heck, after the videos that keep coming my way, I might be overjoyed if I saw “have clues” instead of straight up clueless! I watched this magnificent display of American history by some of our finest students (er, they ARE in college, right?) and just cringed. What’s worse, this doesn’t seem to bother these ‘college attendees” all that much, does it (it never seems to, does it?)?
All I keep hearing is that our educational system MUST turn out “critical thinkers”. Sorry if I get, once again, a bit critical of our educational system (and generally unknowledgable citizenry on the issues) as it seems that they have failed to educate our young’uns to even known about the “critical points” of our nation’s history. After all, if you don’t know where we’ve been, how can you know if we’re going off the rails now and into the future?
Or has that been the intent all along. C’mon, these “future leaders of America” can’t be THIS clueless unless it has been on purpose?
