Here’s a suitable followup to the McLuster post.  She (McLuster) whined about Bush tax cuts–that’s where a president let people keep what they legally earned and… oops the economy got better and 3.5 million jobs were created. 

Does that number sound familiar?  3.5 Million jobs?  It should.

Obama and the spendocrats spent trillions to create….3.5 million jobs.  That was the promise.  Stimulus=3.5 million new jobs.  In fact every spending program–and there were quite a few–turned into a jobs program.  Are you thinking what I’m thinking?  Their definition of jobs is different from ours.

I don’t usually waste valuable ink on celebrities unless they do or say something in excess of the expected amount of ignorance.  Jennifer Aniston has done just that.  She apparently thinks the idea of being a single mom is OK–like as if anyone could do it.

Everyone in your little circle of wealthy Hollywood and professional types Jen, or did you realize that when you say stuff like that everyone hears it?

Ann McLane Kuster….Let’s just Call Her McLuster

Uh Hee hee, duh!Ann McLane Kuster, aside from having another one of those pretentious feminist names like Carol Seiu-Porter, has demonstrated to us that she is just another shill for the left wing narrative.  The road map to shill-dom (the most current public version at the very least) was printed in this morning’s Union Leader under the headline “Yes, The Bush tax cuts did harm our economy” in the Another View section of the editorial page.  Yes, it is another view, and while I’m no fan of GWB, her view just happens to be a biased view that is also wrong.

 

Before I explain why, let me get this out of the way.  I’m not writing ‘Ann McLane Kuster’ anymore. It is pretentious and annoying, it takes too long to write, so I’m just going to shorten it to McLuster.    And she should thank me.  Combining names is so “all the rage.”  Just think Brangalina! 

McLuster is also the first of a two–word phrase often used by McDonald’s mangers when everything suddenly comes off the rails.  And based on the way she “sees it,” it’s a short stumble from her rhetorical notion of economics to another full-blown federally-mandated McLuster- %$#@!

Homo Depot

Celebrating DiversityHomo is considered a derogatory term in the gay community (though I beleive Gay Anthropoligists get a pass) so I called up an old friend of mine and asked him for permission to use it.  He’s not an anthropologist if it matters.  He asked why and I told him.  I said, “Home depot promoted the gay lifestyle in a parade of some sort, but at about the same time wouldn’t let a guy who works in one of their stores wear a pin on his apron that said “One Nation under God.” (I’m paraphrasing)

“Frikkin Homos!” He said. (Not paraphrasing)

He is a Christian, and a Patriot, and he’s gay, and he supports the Tea Party, and the military (and he’s not a democrat) and is far more diverse and tolerant, and certainly more equal than those “homo’s” at Homo Depot.  He also asked that I not name him because, and I quote, "some homo might give me s*i* for it if they ever read it and he’s got more of that than he can handle at the moment." 

I guess election season has been rough on him.  I don’t know.  He didn’t want to explain it, and to be honest, I didn’t want to know.  Sort of our own little "don’t ask don’t tell policy."

About 100 years of socialist economics combined with institution of a welfare state appears like enough to do it. Start with the wannabe dictator, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and don’t repeal the damage done during his reign. Then have both Democrats and Republicans build upon and expand the damage whenever they’re in power. Finally, give the final push to collapse the economy. Then declare "a state of emergency" as elections approach….

Told You So

photos-of-extinguished-cigarette - Tobacco taxes in danger thanks to ObamacareDemocrats raised the cigarette tax to raise revenue in their race to the bottom with neighboring states.  And back in April I pointed out what every conservative already knows; that raising the tax will cost the state money.

Raising cigarette taxes will reduce overall revenue from that tax, decrease visits, lower average purchases per visit, provide no secondary or tertiary retail advantages, and give people fewer reasons to visit our state to buy other items.   This will just exacerbate the deficit problem by eroding revenues further, just like the scores of the other tax and fee increases we’ve enjoyed under the tenure of the Lynch administration

In this mornings Nashua Telegraph, in one of those “not worth a whole article” News digest blurbs , we learn that the good people of Maine are smoking more and buying their cigarettes in New Hampshire less.  The theory goes that the increase in the New Hampshire cigarette tax has reduced the price benefit to the point where it is no longer worth making a special trip.  There’s no way to know exactly how much it will cost New Hampshire but according to the blurb Maine sales are up 20%. (TWENTY PERCENT!)

NH%20Voting%20Booth.jpgWell, we’ve had some poll data to digest these past couple week and, due to my instinctive craving to analyze the data, I’m going to summarize the results, and throw in some conjecture with it.

Poll #1:  NH Young Republican Picnic Straw Poll, (and here) conducted Saturday August 7, 2010

  • Senate – Ayotte 59, Lamontagne 57, Bender 44, Binnie 12, Lamare 2

Numbers were so close (between #1 and #2), that the votes had to be recounted.  As I’ve said, inside the activist community, and in public polls, this is looking like a 4-way horse-race (3-way at least), and anyone’s to win, for now.

Binnie’s big-money advantage on the airwaves and his poor reception among the activist and Conservative communities, seem to cancel each other out.  Even though he lives in Rye, where this picnic was held (!??!), Binnie was a no-show, to the "surprise" of the organizers.  Maybe he’s concerned about being ambushed by a bunch of smart-ass youngsters on social issues, after the recent Cornerstone Ad?

There’s still a lot of golf to be played in this tournament, though…

  • Congress D2 – Horn 82, Bass 52, Giuda 19, Reilly 2

Jennifer Horn gave a large thwap! to Charlie Bass this time, with a 30-vote margin.  If I am correct, Jennifer hasn’t lost a straw poll this year.  And I thought, at first, that the UnionLeader reporter wasn’t interested in reporting Bob Giuda’s vote-count, but then I saw him listed with 19 votes, in a later paragraph, where all of the no-so-front-runners were listed.

  • Congress D1 – Guinta 91, Ashooh 40, Mahoney 34, Bestani 8

Frank Guinta continues his Horn-like command of the straw polls, more than doubling-up everyone else.

  • Governor – Stephen 86, Kimball 72, Testerman 9, Emiro 6.

Although he fares better at Tea Party and 912 events, don’t count Jack Kimball out of this race just yet.  With 5 weeks to go, anything can happen.  Jack has a way of heating up the inner-passions of his listeners, and if he can get in front of more of them outside the activist community, quickly, he could surge ahead and catch John Stephen.

I really like, respect and admire Karen Testerman, but she could do more good at this point by endorsing either Stephen or Kimball, giving one of them a boost in the home-stretch, with her loyal, respectable following.

Saw this over at Cassy Fiano’s and it caught my eye.  Again, we see what uber-Feminists have done to the traditional bricks of the underpinnings of our society.  Again, as we move to a completely "self libertine" way of thinking (as in the 60s "the ME Generation", the most hedonistic evah!), we find that decisions and actions have consequences.  When practiced by a large percentage of the population, the effects of those consequences spill out all over… 

American women have some of the best lives in the world. We can literally do whatever we want. American women can go to school where we want, we can go to college, we can work wherever we want, we can marry whoever we want, and we can choose to lead whatever kind of life we want to lead. Millions of women in oppressed countries around the world cannot even imagine the freedom that American women so enjoy — and take for granted. We’ve come a long way in less than one hundred short years, but a lot of women can’t see that.

We’re constantly told that we’re victims of an invisible patriarchy, that we’re slaves to our hormones, that without abortion on demand we can’t fully be women, that we don’t need a man but we need the government. The people that tell women these lies are the same people who pretend to be fighting for us, who have hijacked feminism: the fascist feminists. Whereas once feminists fought for equality, today the femisogynists fight for things like taxpayer funded abortion and universal health care. They fight for women to be able to sleep around like men and ignore the consequences. And most of the time, women don’t even know they’re being manipulated and lied to. Thankfully, once the lies are exposed, it’s easy to see the con.
