We have heard from all the special interests.  It’s unanimous, the organizations that would receive more of the money that hardworking Americans pay in taxes want Medicaid Expansion.  Is that a legitimate reason for Medicaid Expansion?  No.

If someone doesn’t have health insurance, is that a reason why taxpayers should have to pay for that person’s insurance?  No.  However, we find it reasonable to provide Medicaid for certain poor people who cannot provide for themselves: children, disabled, blind, pregnant women, and low income families.

One question is, what percent of the population should be considered “poor” enough to burden taxpayers?  5%?  (One in twenty)  10%? (One in ten)  33 1/3%? (One in three)

More than one out of every ten New Hampshire residents is already covered by Medicaid, paid for by their fellow citizens.  With Medicaid Expansion, about one of every seven NH residents would be covered…that would be very excessive.

A better question is, why add more people to Medicaid when Obamacare subsidizes low income people who buy their own insurance?  Private insurance is more widely accepted than Medicaid and patients get better medical results.

The best question is why are we talking about Medicaid Expansion when we should be talking about JOBS?

Gosh, at one time (and not all that long ago, either!) holding those Values were seen as the norm (and not “extremists”).  But no, TEA Party folks have been accused of all KINDS of things by others – snide remarks and epithets that make for “political moments” even as those  three widely accepted tenets of the Movement try to stop the Government from insinuating itself into almost every nook & cranny of our lives, spending money it doesn’t have ($17 Trillion) , and making our economy worse than Europe’s with regulations being economic equivalent of an MMA rear naked choke.

For this, NH GOP RNC Committeeman Steve Duprey accused the TEA Party of being “Flat Earthers”  and “anarchists” (my response here).  Yesterday, NH Democrat Party Chairman Ray Buckley (who has called us extremists too many times to count, among other things) decided to retweet the following while we were talking with AFP/NH Exec. Ed pointed out last night that Janice Rottenberg had voted in New Hampshire in 2012 (from the home of Democrat Finance Committee chair Cindy Rosenwald’s 101 Wellington Street Nashua home).  Rottenberg has now turned up in Virginia voting in June 2013, just a few months after voting in New Hampshire, and not long after the NH AG clarified that vote fraud was legal in New Hampshire as long as you demonstrate some intent to establish domicile (driving thru NH has been confirmed as adequate “intent to establish domicile” for voting purposes).

We’ve made it clear, with these things called facts, that the intent of Rottenberg and dozens of other Drive-Thru Democrat operatives is to steal votes in elections, including those held in New Hampshire.  Maybe not just New Hampshire.

New Hampshire Obamacare Expansion and The Battle for the Soul of the Republican Party

This Thursday, the New Hampshire House and Senate will take a vote that could alter the course of our state with devastating consequences.  Indeed, we might have to alter our legendary state motto from “Live Free or Die” to “Live for Free and Die” as we face a changing ethos that exchanges liberty, freedom, and achievement for dependence on the federal government, diminished economic freedom, and the wretched health outcomes delivered by a centrally-planned healthcare system.  New Hampshire’s very own distinguished Revolutionary War hero General John Stark coined our state motto in a tribute letter to his fellow comrades in celebration of the Battle of Bennington – a turning point for the Rebels in the Revolutionary War.

We fought the Revolutionary War so that we could have self-government, freedom from taxation for revenue, and freedom from mob rule – favoring instead a form of government that holds the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as sacrosanct.

Today, we fight our modern day Battle of Bennington.  Just as the British sought to control the colonies, the federal government now seeks to destroy our New Hampshire state sovereignty through federal regulation of our healthcare system and fiscal enslavement through the increased federal debt and the ultimate state taxes that will result from Obamacare expansion.

We know that the uACA (That’s unAffordable Care Act) has already forced millions of jobs out of existence.  With employment suffering from ObamaCare and the looming shadow of the return of the bride of the business mandate portion of the ACA next year, millions more jobs will be erased by Democrat policy.  So what does the  DSCC rapid response team do?  They ask their base to push for a job killing national minimum wage increase in the Senate.

Friend — This is important: Senate Democrats are working on a plan to stimulate the economy by raising the minimum wage.

But even though it will help lift millions of workers out of poverty, Tea Party Republicans in the House are already threatening to block this critical legislation.

The Leftist theory that adding uninsured onto a government health care plan will cause them to seek preventative care vs. the higher cost emergency room care is great in theory, but that theory falls apart in the real world.

Adding around 400,000 (and a lot more in the future) people to Medicaid will NOT reduce the US health care costs and that is easily proven with historical data.
